歯科衛生士になった理由

最初のきっかけは、当時の担任の先生から歯科衛生士の資格が取れる大学を勧められたことでした。わたしはあまり歯科医院という環境に馴染みがないまま育ってきたので職業もこの時初めて知り資格がとれて、手に職をつけられるならいいかなくらいの軽い気持ちで決めました。

当時思い描いていた歯科衛生士像は今の働き方とは全く異なったものでしたが、あの時歯科衛生士という道を選択していたからこそ今があるので、結果としてこの選択は正解だったなと思います。

健康な方が健康な状態を維持することのサポートが出来ること
本当は、悪くなる前に習慣を正せば悪くなるのを防げることが多いのです。
健康な状態を維持する事の価値を伝え、その手助けが出来るというのは、とても貢献度の高い事だと感じています。
