The plants

Even though the rainy season is over, it has been raining since the day before yesterday. Because of that, I don't have to water the plants twice or three times a day.
That happened on one day last week. In the morning,the weather forecast said it would begin to rain before noon, and that it would keep raining until nighttime. That surely meant I didn't need to water the plants. I looked up to the sky and it looked like it was going to rain, so I decided to go out quite far from home. I saw dark thick clouds there. I came back at night and was too tired to check the plants.
The next day, I found the plants were dying.

Online supermarket

The rainy season is over. The school summer vacation has started, so I can hear the cheerful voice of children from outside who go to elementary school. However, my children go to college and their summer vacation starts at the beginning of August. Until then, I will work as hard as possible.
To save time, I started to use an online supermarket. It is very useful and convenient for me. If I order by 9pm,they deliver between noon and 2pm. It is called first delivery. There are three deliveries a day.
This morning I'll go to a hair salon, so I ordered the second delivery to get food after 2pm.

今年も６月末に行われたサマーフェスティバルに行ってきました。
この日は、定員の半数しか参加者がなかったので、開始と同時にのんびり色塗りをし始める子が多く、スタッフも困惑していました

今年は、ネイティブ講師と対話する機会を多く取り入れたお祭り形式のイベントだったんですが、やはりお祭りはごった返すくらいじゃないと雰囲気が出ないのかもしれませんね

空いているブースには、何度でも行けてたくさんネイティ話すチャンスだったのに、
なかなか大人が思うようには子供は動かないですね

500ポイントで図書カード♪(2)

当教室では、昨年度からポイント制を再導入しています。
所定のポイントが貯まると景品交換できます。
景品には１０ポイントから交換できますが、
景品の中で小学高学年から中学生に最も人気のあるものが、図書カードです。
図書カードと交換するためには、５００ポイントが必要となりますが、
スーパーラーニング生や複数科目受講生は、毎週の課題を提出していれば、年に一度は図書カードと交換できるようにしています。
写真の彼女は、さんすう計算検定コース受講生で、課題プリントがほとんど満点のため満点加算ポイントを多く稼ぎ、３ケ月程で５００ポイント貯め図書カードと交換しました。

Getting a new cellphone

I went to a home electronics retailer with my son to buy a new cellphone today. We arrived there at around 1:30 and left around 4:30.
It took a very long time to get a new cellphone. It's not because the store was crowded that it took so long. The clerk was bad at her job.
She looked to be in her 50's but seemed to be efficient at her work. She was doing her job calmly with a smile, so I thought the procedure must be complicated.
While waiting at the customer's counter,I fell asleep. When I woke up, she was still working. I was shocked by her awkwardness but I should admire her attitude.

Humidity

Have you started to use your air conditioner yet?
Yesterday, it was hot but dry in the daytime, so I didn't feel like using my air conditioner. Using a fan was enough to make me feel comfortable. The temperature at night is lower than the daytime's, as usual, but I began to feel hot. It is normal for the humidity at night to be higher than during the day. However, I don't understand why. After all, I used the air conditioner at night and fell asleep.
This morning, I tried not to use the air conditioner. I can't stand this humidity. I am using both my air conditioner and fan now.
