19-24 
וַֽיהוָ֗ה הִמְטִ֧יר עַל־סְדֹ֛ם וְעַל־עֲמֹרָ֖ה גָּפְרִ֣ית וָאֵ֑שׁ מֵאֵ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה מִן־הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

 

主は硫黄と火とを主の所すなわち天からソドムとゴモラの上に降らせて、 
Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; 

19-25 
וַֽיַּהֲפֹךְ֙ אֶת־הֶעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔ל וְאֵ֖ת כָּל־הַכִּכָּ֑ר וְאֵת֙ כָּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הֶעָרִ֔ים וְצֶ֖מַח הָאֲדָמָֽה׃

これらの町と、すべての低地と、その町々のすべての住民と、その地にはえている物を、ことごとく滅ぼされた。 
And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

 

19-26
וַתַּבֵּ֥ט אִשְׁתֹּ֖ו מֵאַחֲרָ֑יו וַתְּהִ֖י נְצִ֥יב מֶֽלַח

しかしロトの妻はうしろを顧みたので塩の柱になった。   
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

19-27
וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֥ם אַבְרָהָ֖ם בַּבֹּ֑קֶר אֶל־הַ֨מָּקֹ֔ום אֲשֶׁר־עָ֥מַד שָׁ֖ם אֶת־פְּנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

 

 

アブラハムは朝早く起き、さきに主の前に立った所に行って、  
And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:

 

19-28 
וַיַּשְׁקֵ֗ף עַל־פְּנֵ֤י סְדֹם֙ וַעֲמֹרָ֔ה וְעַֽל־כָּל־פְּנֵ֖י אֶ֣רֶץ הַכִּכָּ֑ר וַיַּ֗רְא וְהִנֵּ֤ה עָלָה֙ קִיטֹ֣ר הָאָ֔רֶץ כְּקִיטֹ֖ר הַכִּבְשָֽׁן׃

ソドムとゴモラの方、および低地の全面をながめると、その地の煙が、かまどの煙のように立ちのぼっていた。 
And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

19-29 
וַיְהִ֗י בְּשַׁחֵ֤ת אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶת־עָרֵ֣י הַכִּכָּ֔ר וַיִּזְכֹּ֥ר אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֑ם וַיְשַׁלַּ֤ח אֶת־לֹוט֙ מִתֹּ֣וךְ הַהֲפֵכָ֔ה בַּהֲפֹךְ֙ אֶת־הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־יָשַׁ֥ב בָּהֵ֖ן לֹֽוט׃

 

こうして神が低地の町々をこぼたれた時、すなわちロトの住んでいた町々を滅ぼされた時、神はアブラハムを覚えて、その滅びの中からロトを救い出された。 
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

 

19-30 
וַיַּעַל֩ לֹ֨וט מִצֹּ֜ועַר וַיֵּ֣שֶׁב בָּהָ֗ר וּשְׁתֵּ֤י בְנֹתָיו֙ עִמֹּ֔ו כִּ֥י יָרֵ֖א לָשֶׁ֣בֶת בְּצֹ֑ועַר וַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ בַּמְּעָרָ֔ה ה֖וּא וּשְׁתֵּ֥י בְנֹתָֽיו׃

 

 

ロトはゾアルを出て上り、ふたりの娘と共に山に住んだ。ゾアルに住むのを恐れたからである。彼はふたりの娘と共に、ほら穴の中に住んだ。  
And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
