1Ἀρχὴ τοῦ εὐαγγελίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ Υἱοῦ Θεοῦ.

• 1:1神の子イエス・キリストの福音のはじめ。
   1The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

2Καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν τῷ Ἡσαΐᾳ τῷ προφήτῃ Ἰδοὺ ἀποστέλλω τὸν ἄγγελόν μου πρὸ προσώπου σου, ὃς κατασκευάσει τὴν ὁδόν σου·

• 1:2預言者イザヤの書に、「見よ、わたしは使をあなたの先につかわし、あなたの道を整えさせるであろう。
  2As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

3φωνὴ βοῶντος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Ἑτοιμάσατε τὴν ὁδὸν Κυρίου, εὐθείας ποιεῖτε τὰς τρίβους αὐτοῦ,

 

• 
  1:3荒野で呼ばわる者の声がする、『主の道を備えよ、その道筋をまっすぐにせよ』」と書いてあるように、
  3The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

4ἐγένετο Ἰωάνης ὁ βαπτίζων ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ κηρύσσων βάπτισμα μετανοίας εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν.  

 

• 1:4バプテスマのヨハネが荒野に現れて、罪のゆるしを得させる悔改めのバプテスマを宣べ伝えていた。
  4John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

 

5καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο πρὸς αὐτὸν πᾶσα ἡ Ἰουδαία χώρα καὶ οἱ Ἱεροσολυμεῖται πάντες, καὶ ἐβαπτίζοντο ὑπ’ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ Ἰορδάνῃ ποταμῷ ἐξομολογούμενοι τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.

• 1:5そこで、ユダヤ全土とエルサレムの全住民とが、彼のもとにぞくぞくと出て行って、自分の罪を告白し、ヨルダン川でヨハネからバプテスマを受けた。
   5And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

6καὶ ἦν ὁ Ἰωάνης ἐνδεδυμένος τρίχας καμήλου καὶ ζώνην δερματίνην περὶ τὴν ὀσφὺν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔσθων ἀκρίδας καὶ μέλι ἄγριον.

• 1:6このヨハネは、らくだの毛ごろもを身にまとい、腰に皮の帯をしめ、いなごと野蜜とを食物としていた。
  6And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

7καὶ ἐκήρυσσεν λέγων Ἔρχεται ὁ ἰσχυρότερός μου ὀπίσω μου, οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς κύψας λῦσαι τὸν ἱμάντα τῶν ὑποδημάτων αὐτοῦ.  

 

• 1:7彼は宣べ伝えて言った、「わたしよりも力のあるかたが、あとからおいでになる。わたしはかがんで、そのくつのひもを解く値うちもない。
  7And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

 

8ἐγὼ ἐβάπτισα ὑμᾶς ὕδατι, αὐτὸς δὲ βαπτίσει ὑμᾶς Πνεύματι Ἁγίῳ.

• 1:8わたしは水でバプテスマを授けたが、このかたは、聖霊によってバプテスマをお授けになるであろう」。
  8I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

9Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν ἐκείναις ταῖς ἡμέραις ἦλθεν Ἰησοῦς ἀπὸ Ναζαρὲτ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ ἐβαπτίσθη εἰς τὸν Ἰορδάνην ὑπὸ Ἰωάνου.

• 
  1:9そのころ、イエスはガリラヤのナザレから出てきて、ヨルダン川で、ヨハネからバプテスマをお受けになった。
  9And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

10καὶ εὐθὺς ἀναβαίνων ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος εἶδεν σχιζομένους τοὺς οὐρανοὺς καὶ τὸ Πνεῦμα ὡς περιστερὰν καταβαῖνον εἰς αὐτόν·

• 1:10そして、水の中から上がられるとすぐ、天が裂けて、聖霊がはとのように自分に下って来るのを、ごらんになった。
  10And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

11καὶ φωνὴ ἐγένετο ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν Σὺ εἶ ὁ Υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός, ἐν σοὶ εὐδόκησα.

• 1:11すると天から声があった、「あなたはわたしの愛する子、わたしの心にかなう者である」。
   11And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

12Καὶ εὐθὺς τὸ Πνεῦμα αὐτὸν ἐκβάλλει εἰς τὴν ἔρημον.

• 1:12それからすぐに、御霊がイエスを荒野に追いやった。  
  12And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

13καὶ ἦν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας πειραζόμενος ὑπὸ τοῦ Σατανᾶ, καὶ ἦν μετὰ τῶν θηρίων, καὶ οἱ ἄγγελοι διηκόνουν αὐτῷ.  

 

• 1:13イエスは四十日のあいだ荒野にいて、サタンの試みにあわれた。そして獣もそこにいたが、御使たちはイエスに仕えていた。 
  13And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

 

14Καὶ μετὰ τὸ παραδοθῆναι τὸν Ἰωάνην ἦλθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν κηρύσσων τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ Θεοῦ

• 1:14ヨハネが捕えられた後、イエスはガリラヤに行き、神の福音を宣べ伝えて言われた、
  14Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15καὶ λέγων ὅτι Πεπλήρωται ὁ καιρὸς καὶ ἤγγικεν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ Θεοῦ· μετανοεῖτε καὶ πιστεύετε ἐν τῷ εὐαγγελίῳ.

• 1:15「時は満ちた、神の国は近づいた。悔い改めて福音を信ぜよ」。
   15And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

16Καὶ παράγων παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν τῆς Γαλιλαίας εἶδεν Σίμωνα καὶ Ἀνδρέαν τὸν ἀδελφὸν Σίμωνος ἀμφιβάλλοντας ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ· ἦσαν γὰρ ἁλεεῖς.  

 

• 1:16さて、イエスはガリラヤの海べを歩いて行かれ、シモンとシモンの兄弟アンデレとが、海で網を打っているのをごらんになった。彼らは漁師であった。
  16Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

 

17καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς Δεῦτε ὀπίσω μου, καὶ ποιήσω ὑμᾶς γενέσθαι ἁλεεῖς ἀνθρώπων.

• 1:17イエスは彼らに言われた、「わたしについてきなさい。あなたがたを、人間をとる漁師にしてあげよう」。
  17And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

18καὶ εὐθὺς ἀφέντες τὰ δίκτυα ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ.

• 1:18すると、彼らはすぐに網を捨てて、イエスに従った。
  18And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

19Καὶ προβὰς ὀλίγον εἶδεν Ἰάκωβον τὸν τοῦ Ζεβεδαίου καὶ Ἰωάνην τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ καταρτίζοντας τὰ δίκτυα,

• 1:19また少し進んで行かれると、ゼベダイの子ヤコブとその兄弟ヨハネとが、舟の中で網を繕っているのをごらんになった。
  19And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

20καὶ εὐθὺς ἐκάλεσεν αὐτούς· καὶ ἀφέντες τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ζεβεδαῖον ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ μετὰ τῶν μισθωτῶν ἀπῆλθον ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ.

• 1:20そこで、すぐ彼らをお招きになると、父ゼベダイを雇人たちと一緒に舟において、イエスのあとについて行った。 
  20And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.
