裕也は、アメリカにいる。
金融の仕事をしている。
裕也の勤めてるビルは、ニューヨークのウォール街の端にある。
立派なビルではない。赤レンガ造りの古びた建物である。
しかし、一階のフロントには、相談窓口があり、
忙しく、社員と資産の管理を相談しに来る訪問客が出入りしている。
裕也も水曜日は、窓口に座る。日本人の顧客の方も多い。
彼は、日々の仕事の忙しさに追われていた。
そんなある日、仕事から帰宅し、ポストを何気なく見ると珍しく手紙が入っていた。
両親からは、ほとんど手紙は、来ない。
海外にだすのがめんどくさいらしい。
（おや。何の手紙だろう。）
裕也は、手に取り裏側の送り主を探した。
（何も書かれていない。少し重い。）
金属か何かが入っている気がする。
恐る恐る封を切る。
送り主の住所が書かれていた。
インディア ガテジョーズ３０５ チベットガテマラ・テンプル
チベットのある寺院から手紙が来たようである。
（う。チベット？インディア？
チベットて中国と違うの？）
確かに、裕也宛ではあった。
