ポットパイ！

ポットパイを作ってみました！大きさはRobertサイズ18㎝のBowl

今回はホワイトソースからベーススープまで自家製で作り、Hilke家オリジナルポットパイに！子供の時から食べているRobertさんに10点の評価を頂きました！

Growing up in the United States, one of my favorite foods was chicken pot pie. This is a traditional U.S. American meal which apparently originated in ancient Rome. Of course, the English are famous for their meat pies and the early colonists brought their recipes from England in the early 1600's. Since my mother was very busy in the evenings teaching piano at her studio in our house, she needed some convenient and easy-to-prepare foods to feed the family. Frozen chicken pot pies were one of the most common items on the menu at the Hilke household. As good as the frozen versions are (and they really ARE quite tasty!), the best chicken pot pies are made from scratch. But it's not so easy to make a really good one. That's why I was so happy about the chicken pot pie that my wife made for our dinner. It was amazingly good! It certainly deserved the full mark of "10" that I gave it. I told my wife to make this dish at least once every two months from now on.
