Sorry for the long absence. Three weeks in the U.S. was great. Now lots to do back in Japan to try to catch up. 
Over the weekend I could experience one of my favorite events in the year: TTT. TTT stands for TOEIC Teachers' Training. This year is the 10th consecutive year that Hiro Maeda and I have conducted this stimulating seminar. Rather than simply a training seminar, TTT is a kind of 学会 where experienced and new teachers can gather to network and share their teaching tips. Of course, Hiro and I do provide some training in our TOEIC Method, but as we always say to the participants in TTT, "We learn as much from you as you learn from us."
This photo shows Hiro recording one of the sample lesson presentations done by Ishihara-san, one of our most dedicated graduates of TTT. All of the participants give 模擬 lessons to other participants who then offer feedback on what was good, what they learned, and what could be improved.
It's a very exciting four-day session over two weekends. In fact, this year TTT was so popular that ALC Press decided to sponsor it twice. Therefore, TTT11 will take place beginning in the middle of next month and continuing until early March.
