明後日31日は、四谷MobiusにてLiveがあります☆

Philip名義のLiveは昨年の12月31日が最後ですからちょうど１ヶ月ぶりになりますね。　最近は、他のお仕事で忙しいPhilip。　明後日は一体どんなステージをみせてくれるのでしょうか。　楽しみですね！

ご存知Mobiusということで、Acoustic形式です。

Flash Disk Ranch

Hello,The Pink Panther is back! Today I went for a long walk to Shimokitazawa to visit my friend Tsubaki at his record shop. Flash Disk Ranch has the best records for the lowest price in Tokyo!!!! Tsubaki always has something interesting to listen to everytime I stop in to say hello and look at albums.

Today,Philip had go to his rehearsal for Silk at the Osaka Blue Note. I`m at home alone now. It is boring here ,by myself. Why dont we watch a movie togther? How about "The Pink Panther"? Ooooh! Its such a GREAT movie! I`m the leading actor......(Dont you think that I deserve the Oscar?) Shall we watch it and laugh together?

Rehearsal for O.B.N

Well! Its time for rehearsal ! Next live (except for Mobius)is at Osaka Blue Note,with Silk. Today we are getting ready for these fine gentlemen from Los Angeles to arrive. They have many hits,and we have a lot of work to do!
Produced by my friend Keith Sweat,Silk has many fans in Japan. Sorry,this show is only inj Osaka! Maybe we will come to Tokyo next time...

３月と４月のBlues Alley LIVE♪

みなさんこんにちは☆　今日はまた寒いな～！と思っていたら、午前中にチラッと雪が降ったようですね。　暦の上でも"大寒"だそうで、エアコンはフル稼働状態です！

さてさて、３月と４月に目黒"Blues Alley"で予定しているPhilip Woo Liveの詳細が、Blues AlleyのWeb Siteの方にもＵＰされました☆　Blues AlleyでのPhilip自身のLiveは、満員御礼で終えた去年の９月のLiveから数えて約半年ぶりになるんですね！　ワクワクです♪　
ちなみに、Blues AlleyにLiveのコメント資料を送る際、Philipに「今回はどんな雰囲気にしようと思ってるの？ Web用にまとめなきゃいけないから」と聞いたところ、「４月１９日のは"A Tribute To Billy Preston"」「なるほど。じゃあ３月１３日は？　日にち的にはホワイトデー・イブだけど、そんな感じ？」と聞くと、「３月１３日は"Spring Soul Special"。お花見みたいな」「お花見・・・？」「そう、お花見祭り。MA・TSU・RI～ !!!」・・・・・・ようは、みんなで一緒にお祭りがしたいようです。　みなさんも、そのつもりで遊びに来て下さいね(笑)！

インタビュー

今日は、サンフランシスコのInternet Magazine"transitlab"のインタビューを受けてきました☆

場所は、恵比寿の某カフェにて行われました。　内容としては音楽を始めた経緯はもちろん、プライベートのコトなども・・・。　インターネット上にＵＰされるのは、おそらく１ヶ月？ほど後とのことです☆　決定次第、お知らせします♪　お楽しみに！

Help Save The "CHA CHA HOUSE" !!!

今日は御馴染み"CHA CHA HOUSE"のHouse Band Member"Reddyo"さんがいらっしゃいました☆　ReddyoさんはGood Keyboardist＆Good Vocalist（もちろんGood Spiritの持ち主☆）で、月に数回PhilipのLessonを受けにいらしてるんですが、Lessonが終わってRelaxしているとReddyoさんが、
「あのね、Sad Newsなんだけどね、CHA CHA HOUSEがCLOSEするかもしれないの～；」
「・・・？？！！」
・・・なんですと？！　あんなに良いLive Houseが無くなっちゃう？！！　Philipが最近やらせてもらっているLive Houseの中で１、２を争う位に本人やPhilip Woo BandのMemberもとてもCHA CHAを気に入っていただけに、大ショック。　なんでも今年に入って突然そんな話が本社の方で持ち上がったらしく、まだ本決まりではないけれど、このままだったら３月までで閉店？してしまうかもしれないそうなんです。　でも頑張りによっては違う方向に持っていけるかもしれない、ということ。　この知らせを聞いたPhilipは、
「The Philip Woo Band has played many times at the Cha Cha House. I appreciate the support that Yuko and the staff at Cha Cha House has given to me,and I want to help this wonderful place stay open as much as I can. Please help me and The Cha Cha House by coming to my shows and other artists shows in these coming months. I hope CHA CHA HOUSE can continue!（CHA CHA HOUSEでPhilip Woo BandはとてもたくさんLiveをやってきた。その時の、マネージャーのYukoやスタッフ達のサポートにはとても感謝をしているので、この素晴らしい場所が続くように僕もできる限りの手助けがしたいな。だから皆も是非（特に）これからの数ヶ月の間、僕のLiveに（今まで以上に！）参加しに来たり、もちろん他のアーティストの日でもかまわないから足を運んだりして、協力してくれないかな？　無くなって欲しくないな！」と言って、このように自身のブログに載せて協力したいといいました。

Hi Everybody! Pink Panther here! Today was a good day to visit the beach! Ahh! I love the ocean on a clear, sunny day like this. Looking at the water makes me relaxed and peaceful.Do you like the ocean?

One of my favorite things about Japan is food! Today I had "Kaiseki Ryori" (super-ultra special food) It was so delicious! And healthy too! every little dish was made with special care,and was mostly vegetable based! This is tofu cuisine!Now I am almost too sleepy to write,because my stomach is happy!

Diva Gray Live!!!!!

Tonight`s Diva Gray live at Blues Alley was a great show!!!! Every member was so medatsu! The audience was really happy!!!!
We are lucky to have an artist on this level here in Japan.
Tell us more! How can we make our shows better?

Diva Gray Rehearsal

Tomorrow at Blues Alley is my show with Diva Gray! If you dont know her name,dont worry! You have heard her voice so many songs in the past 30 years! All songs by Chic, Change (Luther Vandross debut group) Steely Dan,George Benson and many others.






The Mad Genius,Kaleb James. He is our bandmaster for tomorrow. Super drummer Takada Shin,my nakayoshi bassist,Cliff Archer,along with vocal/guitarist Gats,singers Robbie Danzie and Suzuki Momoko.This will be a concert with wonderful chemistry. If you plan to be there,be prepared to dance!






Who is the man behind the camera? Can you guess? He is an expert listener of soul/R&B music. He supports all of us in Tokyo who are continuing the pursuit of good music. He is always at our live shows,and is looking at us,but now I am looking at him,looking at us! He is the producer of this concert!

明けましておめでとうございます☆

みなさん、明けましておめでとうございます！

年末の忘年会Party、盛り上がりましたね～！　あの熱気ったらたまりませんでしたね！　ココで１つ、遅ればせながら12/30のLiveの後日談を・・・。　Live後、帰宅途中のこと。　元気がなさそうなPhilipが、Hankに「・・・ゴメンネ」と一言。　Hankがビックリして「どうして？」とPhilipに訊ねると、「Liveの最後の時、楽しすぎて興奮しちゃって、演奏止められなかったんだ。　そのせいで終電のこととか忘れちゃって、お客さんみんなと落ち着いて話ができなかった！　みんなせっかく来てくれたのに～！　ああ～！　それだけが今日の失敗！」　・・・確かに(笑)　でもきっとこの事を教訓に、次回からは大丈夫でしょう！(多分？)

という感じにLive三昧だった昨年、皆さんからのPhilipへの言い切れないほどのサポート、本当に本当にありがとうございました！　

さてさて２００７年は、スケジュールのページをご覧になってもおわかりのとおり、すでに前半にTourの予定が入ってきています（後半にも別アーティストのTourのサポート予定アリ。調整中なので、確定次第スケジュールにUPします☆）。　ので、去年ほどの本数は"Philip Woo Band"でのLiveはお届けできないかもしれません(;w;)　スケジュールの合間を探して、できるだけBookingをしていきたいと思っているので、是非その機会を見逃さないで下さいね！

ASAKUSA

Today I went to Asakusa "Sensoji" Temple. Wow! So many people were here! Too many humans!
（今日は、浅草の浅草寺に行ったよ。　いっぱい人間がいたよ！）

I saw a street performers show! This Monkey trained this man to do all kinds of tricks ! Cool! He was jumping over hurdles and balancing on a ball! Now the Monkey is showing everybody who is the boss!

This creature is protecting the temple! He doesn`t talk much ! But he is serious about his job. I can do this job too! Shall we work together? OK? From now on,we are partners!
