Hey,what a great time we had at Motion Blue! Once again,a super performance by my "toriaezu" (just for now) band,The New York All Stars. Brenda Vaughn,Kaleb James and Shanti joined us onstage for an extended soul party jam. Zooco came to show her support.

August 2nd`s Live with Ty Stevens at Mobius has been expanded to include the entire band. It will be 1/2 unplugged(small amps,drums & system)but it will be great,I guarantee! Mobius is small,so if you want to come,please reserve.(see link)

Here we are doing Stevie Wonder`s hit,"Fingertips"("Everybody say YEAH!!!) Im doing my Stevie interpretation on chromatic harmonica.Only Felicia ,with her sky-high vocal range could capture 12-year old Stevie`s voice.KakiYan(Yoichiro Kakizaki)sat in on piano.Kaki played a great piano solo,that soon turned into a gospel shout!

We all went to a party at Goodies Soul Bar,"the best Soul Bar in Japan" (Kaki says).The whole band,staff,and roadies were there ,and some fans.We had a grand time!
Two fans were dressed in kimono,and Felicia was admiring one girl`s lovely kimono.They excused themselves to the ladies room,and returned in each others clothes!We all had a good laugh.

Tonight`s live was unbelievable! Every member was so great!Thank you all who came to Cha Cha House!We will play next week Wednesday.If you missed the first live,dont miss next week.Ralph`s vocals were subarashii!Tai stephens was off the hook,Felicia Enix is something Japan has no equal...and Yuri Kamino was at her finest.Shanti Snyder sat in for a session of Bonnie Raitt`s "I Cant Make You love me"(So Nice:Look for more collaboration with Shanti & Philip)...Hank Nishiyama shined at his brightest.In this setting, I had a chance to play my harmonica,however a little heta,but it will be better next week.Come out to Cha Cha House(http://www15.ocn.ne.jp/~cha_cha/) next wednesday,or to Motion Blue(http://motionblue.co.jp/schedule/index.html) on July 19th!

久保田利伸さんのメンバーとして、SONYのアーティストが集まる”Excite Music Festival'06”に出演しました！いつものTourでのお客さんプラス、今日はじめて久保田さんのFunky Partyに参加してくれた方もいる、という、普段の雰囲気とはまた一味違う、まさに”More Exciting！”なオーディエンス。これから始まるアリーナライブを思わせるような、最高のステージでした！
