さいたま市でビルが全焼し４人が死亡した火事を受けて、消防は周辺の風俗店を対象に消防設備が正常に作動するか調査する特別査察を行ったところ、一部の店舗では防火扉が近くに置かれていた障害物で閉まらないなどの問題が確認されたということです。
１７日、さいたま市大宮区にある風俗店が入る３階建てのビルが全焼し、男女４人が死亡したほか女性１人が意識不明の重体になり、男女７人がけがをしました。現場のビルでは、１９日も警察と消防が検証を行うとともに、さいたま市消防局が警察などとともに周辺の風俗店１７施設を対象に特別査察を行いました。
１９日の査察では、火災報知機や煙を取り除く排煙装置が正常に作動するかや、避難経路や防火扉の周りに障害となるものが置かれていないかなど６つの項目について調査が行われました。
消防によりますと、19日午後３時半の時点で１７施設のうち９施設の査察を終え、一部の店舗では防火扉が近くに置かれていた障害物で閉まらないなどの問題が確認されたということです。
消防は問題点があった店舗について、口頭や文書で指導することにしています
