ちょっとしたトラブルは有る物の、毎度修理して元気に走っている。
My car, Raum NCZ25, has been driven for over 180,000 km for 19 years.
It has been repaired several times and is working fine.
↓そんな我が家のラウムのリモコンキーの持ち手のプラスチック部分が壊れた。
↑The plastic part of Raum's remote control key broke.
実は、壊れたのは8年位前なのだが、その時はAliエクスプレスで、同じ形のブランクキーを見つけたので、試しに2個購入してみた。↓
↑Actually, it broke about 8 years ago, but at that time I found a blank key of the same shape on Ali Express, so I bought it.
↓この時は残念ながら、ブランクキー持ち込みでは近所では加工して貰えなかった。
↑At that time, the shops in my neighborhood couldn't process it into blank keys.
手元にはスペアのリモコンキーが有ったので、当面はそちらを使用していたが、今回はスペアも壊れてしまったと言う訳だ。
I had a spare remote control key, so I used the spare for a while, but this time the spare also broke.
と言う訳で、持込みで加工してくれる専門店でも探すかと、色々調べていたら、Amazonでキーナンバーが判れば、加工済みで送付してくれるというのを見つけた↓
↑So, I did some research, thinking about finding one at a specialty store. I found on Amazon that if you know the key number, they will send it to you already processed
とは言う物のキーナンバーは、新車時のアルミタグか、物によってはキーに書いて有るらしいが、タグもなければキーに刻印もされていない。
The key number seems to be written on the aluminum tag when the car was new, or on the key depending on the item, but there is no tag and it is not engraved on the key.
最後の手段は運転席ドアのキーシリンダーの刻印を調べるという手法らしい。
The last method seems to be to check the stamp on the key cylinder on the driver's door.
学生の頃に、ドアをぶつけて交換した時にキーシリンダーも交換した事が有るが、その時は、内張を剥がして、ロッドを外して、スリーブを外して交換した記憶がある。
When I was a student, I had to replace the key cylinder after hitting the door, but I remember having to peel off the lining, remove the rod, and remove the sleeve to replace it.
ラウムはどうやってそこ迄アクセスするのかなと少し調べた所Youtubeでキーナンバーを調べる為、キーシリンダーの外し方が出てた。思ったより簡単そうなので、その手で合鍵を作る事とした。
I did a little research to find out how to access it, and found an article on Youtube showing how to remove the key cylinder in order to find the key number. It seemed easier than I thought, so I decided to make a duplicate key using that method.
↓先ずはドアの後部のメクラ蓋を外す。
↑First, remove the blind cover at the rear of the door.
↓プラスチックなので、頑張れば手で外せる。
↑It's plastic, so if you try hard you can remove it by hand.
↓中のネジはT30のトルクス（いじり止め無し）だ。
↑The screw inside is T30 Torx (no tamper protection).
↓どこかに有った様な気もするが見つからないので、AmazonでT30を購入して外す。
↑I feel like I have it somewhere, but I can't find it, so I bought T30 on Amazon and removed it.
↓ネジを完全に緩めたら、シリンダーの周りをつかんで揺すって外す。
↑Once the screws are completely loosened, grab the cylinder around it and shake it to remove it.
↓こんな感じでキーシリンダーが抜けてきます。
↑The key cylinder will come out like this.
↓で、ここにお目当ての5桁のキーナンバーが。
↑And here is the 5-digit key number you are looking for.
↓Amazonでキーナンバーを伝えてスペアキーを作って貰った。
↑I told Amazon the key number and had a spare key made.
↓オリジナルをばらして、合鍵にリモコンユニットを組み替える。
↑Take apart the original and replace the remote control unit with the duplicate key.
↓少しおさまりが悪くて隙間ができるし、ボタンの位置も少し奥まってる。
↑It doesn't sit well, leaving a gap, and the buttons are a little recessed.
↓角の周辺やバリをやすりで削ってみる。
↑Try sanding off the burrs and around the corners with a file.
↓多少良くなったが、まだ少し浮いてるが、まあ良しとする。
↑It's gotten a little better, but it's still floating a little, but I think it's okay.
↓と言う事で何とかスペアキーが完成。
↑ Somehow the spare key was completed.
ちなみに、ネットを調べると、初めに買ったブランクキーにオリジナルキーを埋め込む方法①、②等も出ていたが、今回はこの方法が簡単そうなのでこちらを採用した。
By the way, when I searched the internet, I found methods ① and ② for embedding the original key in the blank key that I bought at the beginning.
2個目も注文するかと思ったが、次壊れる前に、車を買い替える事になりそうなので1個で我慢する事にした。
I thought about ordering a second one, but I decided against it because I might have to change cars before the key breaks.
