Pictures, pictures, pictures.
Now that I have finished uploading all the videos and reviewing the audio files,
I have spend the last 2 days going through the +300 digital stills.
And this time, I took pictures on four different devices:
1. iPhone 5
2. iPhone 5S
3. Sony DSC-TX10
4. Sony DSC-RX100M3
So first off, iPhone 5.
Perhaps due to the darkness of the venue or the proximity of my seat (5th row seats),
I only found 2 shots worthy of sharing.
First pictures pretty good but I would have liked a bit more sharpness when I used the zoom.

Deuce - We Are One
http://blog.goo.ne.jp/deuce1121
Okay so after the acoustic performance, I noticed the massive crowd at the KISS merchandise tents so decided I better find the end of the line.
That is when I noticed Mr Mark Stroman (VP of marketing and sales at McGhee Entertainment), whom I had a chance to meet and speak to during the October 2013 Budokan shows.
Apparently my dragon boots made an impression as they asked me to be interviewed by Australian television.
Being the shy guy that I am, it took me less than 0.001 seconds to answer "YES!!!".
Apparently it is to air on March 12 so gotta find a friend in Australia to record it!
What did they ask me? As I love the sound of my own voice, I don't really remember the exact questions.
Some thing like my first KISS concert, favorite member, prized KISS memorabilia, and of course these gorgeous dragon boots!
For some reason, I don't believe they asked me why my English was so perfect ...

KISS back in Japan for their 11th visit in the land of the rising sun.
Unfortunately, I lost out on the Meet & Greet package
but got my Ultimate Experience tickets!
Even the Tokyo Dome staff were decked out in KISS spirit.
The Tokyo Dome is huge!

And the boys take the stage!

Mr Eric Singer throwing picks and sticks to the audience.
The powerful and attractive, Mr Gene Simmons.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Tommy Thayer!
And of course, Mr Paul Stanley!

KISS - Tommy Thayer Special Fan Event
March 1st 2015 (Sun) - 2015/03/01
@ Harajuku Crocodile (原宿クロコダイル)
I loved Tommy's guitar playing since I first saw him perform with KISS at Concord, California during the Rock The Nation tour.
But I really became a fan when I had a chance to speak with him back stage at Chumash Casino, California.
A genuinely really nice guy and easy to talk to .. not to mention his gorgeous wife, Amber!
So when the chance came to attend his special event at a tiny club in Harajuku, I jumped at it!
Of course, this gave me a chance to try out my new KISS Space Man boots!
For about an hour and twenty minutes,
Tommy answered pre organized questions (organization is the Japanese way - spontaneity highly discouraged LOL!),
promoted his upcoming second Epiphone signature Les Paul, White Lightning http://www.tommythayerguitar.com/,
and played a few licks from the following songs:
01. Hell or Hallelujah
02. Hide Your Heart
03. Cold Gin
04. Out of this World
05. Shock Me
06. Love Gun
07. Black Diamond
08. Detroit Rock City
09. Deuce
10. Christine Sixteen
11. You Shook Me All Night Long (AC/DC)
12. Calling Dr Love
Yours truly was able to ask the lone question at the very end.
There were only 100 fans invited and Tommy was in good spirits mixing in licks, passing the guitar around for everyone to hold, and pointing out fans he recognized.
For me, although I want the Ibanez PS 120 and the Gene Simmons Axe bass,
this Epiphone White Lightning is a solid Les Paul and a great value and I am planning to get me one!
Below is audio from the session (on YouTube).
20150301 KISS Tommy Thayer fan event Harajuku Tokyo Japan
Kiss mega smash hit, 'Beth,’has been made into a video (tribute? spoof? parody?)
starring the KISS tribute band KISSed Alive!.
Produced by Anonymous Content and posted to Vimeo (see link below),
the video shows KISS in the recording studio
when Peter Criss' nagging wife calls to find out when he will be home for dinner.
Peter only speaks the lyrics from the song but fits perfectly in this skit.
Enjoy!
