池袋北口改札のふくろうの石像。
1987（昭和62）年、JRの発足記念として設置されたらしいけど
今は人気の待合場所、、、、ただのオヤジギャグじゃん！
Ikefukuro Statue
Near the JR Ikebukuro station north exit stands a stone statue of a large owl.
Built in 1987, it is now a popular meeting up spot.
Its name is a pun as fukuro means owl and sounds close to bukuro of Ikebukuro.
なんか危なさそうな階段。
夜中のアバンチュールに便利かも。
天王洲にて。
What a dangerous looking stairway.
However, could be useful for a midnight rendezvous.

I thought the doggy was a mascot for only the Kamakura office
but looks like its a mascot for all of Century 21 Japan.

すごく食べやすいですよ。

but the flavor is more of a Chinese / Japanese mix.
Very tasty and a bit original.

でもゴーヤ以外は美味いよ～（苦）。

Goya is a bitter melon famous in Okinawa.
And chanpuru is a popular Okinawan stir fry dish
(with vegetables, tofu, and meat or fish).
I tell ya, goya maybe healthy for you but it sure is damn bitter!
