安倍晋三首相は３１日、北方領土をめぐる日ロ平和条約締結交渉に関連し、「返還後の北方領土を日米安全保障条約の適用対象外とする案を検討」と一部で報じられたことについて、「そのような事実は一切ない」と否定した。(中略)
安倍首相は１２月中旬に地元・山口県でロシアのプーチン大統領と首脳会談を行う。日本政府は北方四島の帰属問題を解決した上で、平和条約を締結することを目指している。
