Designing Grumman F-14 Tomcat
F-14 is fabulous for its design, strength, purpose of its use, and worth considering its restoration nowadays. Its shape form including its variable-sweep wing is simply so cool. This variable-sweep enables an air-fighter to effectively manoeuvre itself well.
Nowadays, due to the further development of detection technology, the stealth is no longe so useful. Therefore, an advantage of visible combats has now become a high initiative so the re-incarnation of Grumman F-14 Tomcat is indeed worth off!

この動画でも、最近は索敵技術の発達でステルス機もどうだかということで有視界戦闘の価値が上がるとのこと。それで、一番頻発する中速空域での活躍は可変翼は有利とのこと。・・・やっぱF-14復活？
あと、やっぱF-15よりF-14の方が強いですね。だから航空自衛隊にもF-15を３機導入するかF-14を２機導入するかの選択肢も昔あったようです。ちと残念ｗ。
