日本人は農耕民族で白人は狩猟民族？これは間違った見方です。海幸彦・山幸彦の神話にあるように、日本人も採取狩猟民族でしたが、南方あるいは朝鮮半島から農業が伝来しました。18世紀に英国人により豪州にも農業が伝来しましたが、定住の習慣のないアボリジニは受け入れませんでした。混血も合わせて現在30万人と推定されるアボリジニの80％は都市に定住していますが、大半は定職がなく政府の援助で生活しています。

Are Japanese agricultural people and Western, hunting ones? It’s not the right view. As the myths about Umisati and Yamasati tell that the ancient Japanese were hunting and gathering people and then agriculture was introduced from southern islands or peninsula of Korea. In Australia agriculture was introduced by English people in the 18th century but aboriginal people refused it as they didn’t have* the custom of inhabitance. It is supposed that there are 300,000 Aboriginis in Australia, 80% of them live in cities but most of them have no steady jobs and rely on assistance from government.
