福島第一原発でまた新たな犠牲者がでた。
東京電力は、08/30/2011、福島原発事故の収束作業に当たっていた40代の男性が「急性白血病」で死亡したと発表した。
この男性は8月上旬に一週間、休憩所の出入りや放射線量の管理業務をやっていた。累計被爆線量は 0.5mSv,内部被爆はゼロだったという。勤務後に体調不良で入院し、死亡した。東京電力は、元請け企業から報告を受けたのは16日だった。
東京電力は、作業前の健康診断で異常は見つからず、
「この東京電力の収束作業とは因果関係は無い」と強弁し突っぱねた。
説明通りなら、僅か一週間で亡くなったことのなる。この因果関係について、元放射線医学総合研究所で、Dr.崎山比早子氏は言う。
「データが無く被爆線量の特定が出来ないため因果関係の断定はやりにくい。ただ、急性白血病と診断されてから死亡までの期間があまりにも短過ぎる気がする。急性白血病は、早期発見で治療出来る可能性のある病気です。仮に、その男性が体調を崩していたなら早く治療を受けさせるべきです。健康診断で異常が無いということの大いなる疑問が残ります。作業員の健康管理がきちんとされているかをチェックするべきです」
福島第一原発の事故現場は、ヒトが即死する10,000msV/hr（10Sv）の放射線量を出す場所が今現在ゴロゴロある。誤ってそこにヒトが立ち入れば、即「あの世」行きだ。5月にも60代の男性が突然死した。

東京電力は１日、福島第一原子力発電所の１、２号機原子炉建屋近くにある主排気筒の下部の配管表面で、これまでで最高の１時間当たり１０シーベルト（１万ミリ・シーベルト）以上の放射線を検出したと発表した。
目盛りを振り切った状態だった。数10シーベルトの可能性もある。
東電は半径３メートル以内を立ち入り禁止にした。これまでは１号機原子炉建屋内部で検出した毎時４シーベルト（４０００ミリ・シーベルト）が最高だった。
毎時１０シーベルトの放射線は極めて危険なレベルである。
