How to Solve SVCI J2534 Ford IDS Unregistered software Error

STIC has discontinued the SVCI-FVDI device and stopped updating it from the Ford-Mazda IDS V125 version.

But when you use Ford IDS V125 with Patch "SVCI J2534 for Ford". You will have "Unregistered software. Expired date 2019.7.12” Error.

Here is the solution to SVCI “Unregistered software. Expired date 2019.7.12” Error.

- Change date "2 or more" month ago from now. "SVCI J2534 for Ford" will work.

Launch Creader Elite Review on 2020 Mercedes Sprinter 907

I spent most of the day deciding which one to buy just for road trips on my 2020 Mercedes Sprinter 907 under a 2022 Thor Tiburon RV.

I mostly want it for clearing codes like my current SRS driver seat airbag (from removing the driver seat connectors and starting the engine while the seat was disconnected), plus other codes and diagnostics as well. I'm one of the DIY crowd and just want to keep my own Sprinter running.

I've decide to try the Launch CReader Elite for Benz for several reasons:
-It's only $167 and I can return it easily if it doesn't work at all, but its the latest 2022 model !
-It uses WiFi for updates so you don't need a PC. One year of free updates. This "Benz" model starts off loaded with Benz support for advanced bidirectional functions at this price, other vehicle brands should give basic OBD diags, and you can pay $40 for an additional brand for its advanced functionality.
-Others have reported on this brand, I assume their much more expensive models, and said that it works on a 907 so I imagine the code was written and this unit is a stripped down model of their bigger solutions. In other words, the software exists already.
-It is the latest 2022 model and on the Launch web page for Vehicle Coverage, if you select Sprinter, it shows that it works for 907 and more, and if you select 907 you get years 2018 thru 2020 (I'm not sure what that means for 2021 and 2022, but I have a 2020). Go to Settings, select the language as English or other languages. Don't choose language as US English.

Autel MS906 Pro 2021 Ford Transit No Live Data?

I'm trying to get live data on a 2021 Ford Transit. Only options on the Autel MS906 Pro scan tool are for ECU Information, Read Codes, and Clear Codes. Tried 3 different Autel scanners and all have the same options. I see Autel sells a CAN FD adapter for newer GM and Ford.

I tried Ford and FordEU. Neither would work. Eventually the Autel wouldn't even read the VIN or connect via OBD2. IDK what's going on with it.

Both the tool and the VCI are up to date. I have two 2021 Ford Transits here and it won't communicate with either of them.

UPDATE- couldn't get the Autel to read anything. Contacted Autel Tech Support and they said they don't support live data on this vehicle. First time in a long time that I have been disappointed with Autel. Borrowed a Snap On Solus and it went right in. Will probably be returning the new Autel and looking at other options.
