Putzmeister has announced its latest advancements in the areas ofconcrete spraying, mixing and transporting equipment for miningwith the introduction of the SPM 4210 WETKRET series and thePutzmeister MIXKRET 4. Designed and manufactured by Putzmeister, the SPM 4210 WETKRETseries reinforced spraying arm provides a vertical spraying reachof nearly 33 ft. (10 m), while the maximum concrete output of Tandem Piston Pump mounted on the equipment is nearly 26 cu. yd.per hour (20 cu m per hour).
Its proportional remote control can beoperated both by cable and remote control, allowing for easyoperation of the spraying arm, regulation of the concrete output,and adjustment of the dosing pump. The SPM 4210 s axles andreinforced turning system allow it to accommodate the rough workingconditions in mining. The new SPM 4210 incorporates numerous new design changes, fromthe chassis to the spray arm, said Patrick Bridger, president ofPutzmeister Shotcrete Technology. Additionally, it is now offeredin various power configurations, which gives users more applicationoptions.
The SPM 4210 WETKRET series includes three versions that aredesigned in accordance with different job site requirements,allowing the equipment to be used in various working environments.The electrically operated, standard version includes an on-boardair compressor. The dual drive version has a dual operating system,allowing all of its components to be operated either by diesel orelectrically.
