「読売新聞を読んでください」という答弁はひどい

無責任すぎる。

国会における本会議、あるいは各種委員会において、
委員や議員が、大臣や総理大臣に質問し、その質問に対
して、大臣や総理大臣が答弁することで、法案や予算案
の内容がより明らかになる。この質疑応答はテレビで
中継されたり、新聞や雑誌で詳細に報道されたりして、
広く国民に知らされている。この質疑応答の場である
国会は非常に大切であり、存在する意義がある。
これが民主主義の土台になっている。しかしながら、
質問に対して「読売新聞を読んで下さいよ」という回答
は許されるのであろうか。いや、許されることは無い。
自分の口で説明出来ない大臣や総理大臣と、このような
レベルの低い回答をした大臣や総理大臣は、辞任すべき
である。

自由民主党の石破衆議院議員でさえ、「安倍晋三首相が
自身の憲法改正案について国会での答弁の中で、「読売新
聞を読め」と言ったのは、国民にはかなりショック
だったと私は思う。あの時から、総理大臣は国民に対し
てきちんと説明してくれているのかという不安が国民に
芽生えたのではないか。これは不満の原因にもなってい
る。
　憲法改正にしても、国家戦略特区にしても、（首相は）
自身を支持している団体には国家の重要政策を発表する
が、多くの一般国民は疎外感のようなものを感じたの
ではないか。自分たち一人ひとりに、誠実に正直に説明
してくれているのだという共感を呼び戻すことが必要
ではないか。
