Another 200 years old tree was gone. I am lucky to meet professional gardener this morning and he explained to me why they cut another one yesterday . It was falling on to the shrine and they found hollow inside. They are afraid of the tree smashing the shrine.He said tree stump has buds and this will live. I visited next day after both tree were cut or fell two times.
We chatted a long time and talked about old tree and my house gardening. I may hire him for our house when we can not come to do gardening.
So nice to meet professional gardener who does gardening in Japan and overseas.
今回は樹齢200年の木が昨日伐採された。偶然庭師に今朝お会いして、樹齢600年の木のように折れる可能性があり伐採を決めたと話されていた。折れると神社が潰されてしまうので伐採を決定。昨日の伐採は見逃したが、30分程庭師とお話しできた。
木から新しい芽と枝がでているので、まだ希望がありそうだ。
以前はこの２本のご神木があった。
