笹の葉を縫い合わせるイモムシ。一本の糸に見える部分を何度も折り返していた。テンションをかけながら糸を張ってだんだん両端が狭まっていく。伸縮性のある糸なのだと思う。

トクサは水辺などによく生えている。茎がつなぎ目でスポッと抜けて、元に戻せるので子供の頃よく遊んだ。ツクシの仲間とは聞いていたが、胞子嚢が出来ているのを今回はじめて見て納得。

Tokusa is a plant in Sphenophyta, as same as field horsetail. When I was a kid, I used to play with it. You can detach and put it back at the black joint, which was a kind of fun. It contains a lot of silicate, they say people used to use it for grinding knife, or polishing teeth.
