アミダテントウ

先日のハムシ、糸崎さんのホームページでくまじろうさんに教えていただきました。
アミダテントウというそうです。

ジンガサハムシに劣らぬ芸達者。普通に歩いているところも愛らしく、見ていて飽きないが、仕草のあるものを選んでみた。
四つ足に加えて両手があるような感じで、見てて少し戸惑う。

AMIDA-TENTOU 3 (Amida tricolor) Coccinellidae
I asked the name of this one in a web site. Kumajiro-san taught me it is Amida tricolor.
It looks kind of cute, mainly because of its big eyes. I picked up some pictures with motion. It looks like it has four forehands, which gives me a strange feeling.

芋虫

ウミウシみたい。
煙突のような突起は何だろう？
多彩な色や形などイモムシとウミウシには相通じるものを感じるが
節足動物と軟体動物（殻を無くした貝）だから類縁性は無い。

webのイモムシ毛虫図鑑などを調べたが、、未同定。

A CATERPILLER ()
Looks like a sea slug. What are the two sticks? Some caterpiller and sea slug share common features, like the vivid color and shape. One is arthropod and the other is mollusk, so they are not homologous.
This one is also unidentified yet.

マルホシハナバエ

お尻の光沢が琥珀のよう。羽根の付け根の白いものが平均棍だろうか？フォーカスはそれ程ずれていないはずなのに暈けて見える。

MARU-HOSHI-HANA-BAE () Anthomyiidae
It's tummy looks like an amber. The white objects are regressed wings.They should be focussed, but somehow they looks fuzzy.

ゲンノショウコ

GEN-NO-SHOUKO (Geranium nepalense ssp. thunbergi) Geraniaceae
Flowers do not need description, I think.

迷彩バエ

ハエはわりと好きだ。飛び回って目に付きやすく、とまるとしばらくじっとしているので撮影しやすいこともあるが、小さいものでも拡大してみると意外と色々な種類があるし、美しいものも多い。
この迷彩模様のハエ（アブ？）も未同定。

Unknown Fly () Diptera
I often take pictures of fly. It is easy to find, because it flies around, and it is easy to take picture because it stays a while once it lands. There are many different kinds and some of them looks pretty neat.
This one is not asigned yet.

軍配虫

地面に座って草の葉を見ているとちいさな虫がいた。体長2mm弱くらい。このサイズだと肉眼で見ても何だかよくわからない。とりあえず撮ってみた。フォーカスがすこし甘い。
グンバイムシというカメムシの仲間のようだ。ヘリがギザギザしている。カエルなどが食べにくくするためだろうか？
羽（？）の形も変だが、頭の横の出っ張りもヘルメットも変だ。
形もさることながら表面の質感も面白い。
顔もよく見えない。いずれ連れて帰ってゆっくり撮りたい。

GUN-BAI-MUSHI (Corythucha marmorata) Tingidae
I was gazing at a leaf sitting on the ground and found this one. About 2mm, way to small to look into detail so I just took a picture. Little off focus.

The edge looks jaggy, to avoid get eaten by frog maybe? The shape of wings looks funny, the head and its side look funny too. Beside its shape, the pattern looks also interesting. Next time, I will take one home and take a closer look.

アメリカシロヒトリ

たまには名前を調べる。
「みんなで作る日本産蛾類図鑑」というホームページには、８０科、数千種の蛾の綺麗な写真がたくさん載っている。ヒトリガ科は７７番目にあり、ここにたどり着くまでにだいぶ蛾の画像を見ることができました。。
アメリカシロヒトリ、わりとよく聞く名前だ。珍しいものでは無いらしい。

There are thousands of different kinds of moth in Japan. The number of family is 80. I looked through a homepage, with pictures of most of kinds, to find out the name of this pretty white one. It was in the 77th family on the list. That means, I saw pictures of thousands of kind of moths...
The name sounds familiar so, it is not a rare one.

アメリカシロヒトリ２

ためしにグーグル（ウェブ検索）で「アメリカシロヒトリ」を調べてみてほしい。

害虫、外来種、侵入害虫、駆除、捕殺防除、誘殺、、、

だいぶ嫌われているらしい。
可憐な姿と言葉のイメージとのギャップにすこし眩暈がした。

There seem to be a large gap between the graphic image and the social recognition.
