ワレモコウーハチ

ワレモコウにハチが来ていた。ワレモコウはもこもこしていて花らしくないが蜜があるようだ。バラ科なのは意外。
ハチは、スズバチだと思う。

Ware-mokou is a funny flower. It is little surprising to know that it belongs to the same family as roses. Apparently it has enough honey to atract bees.
Suzu-bachi makes a bell-shaped nest for its larvae.

When we were having lunch yesterday, a huge moth stoped outside of the window. I did not have camera, so a friend of mine took a picture with cellphone for me.
