Flight recorder
→ Aconcept ofadevice andthemechanism that can usearesult to be provided enough ifIknow only function and how to use thatIwatched fromtheoutside even ifIdo not understand internal theory and structure with flight recorder (Black box).
→ Iturn and, referring tothemachinery which was sealed up not to be able to watch internal mechanism, call it in this way.
Summary[editing]
→ For general consumers,it may be said that most of today's industrial products are flight recorders.
→ For example, theperson understandingthetheory ofthetelevision receiver in general consumers is limited whenItakeatelevision receiver asanexample.
→ Furthermore,it may be said thattheperson thatIreadaconnection diagram of TV,andatelevision receiver is assembled is person that it is very rare among public consumers even if alltheparts gather.
→ However,it is possible for evenaninfant to matchachannel withaprogram to switch on TV,and to want to see.
→ In other wordsIsay this withaflight recorder becauseIusetheeffect without knowing contents andthestructure.
→ On the other hand, fortheengineer specialized inthedesign ofthetelevision receiver, theinternal structure of TV is common-sense knowledge.
→ However, for example,"it depends on totally unknown mechanism" like "stone implement TV" coming up to"aprimitive family-flint stone",andtheworking device by chance similar toatelevision receiver isaflight recorder fortheengineer knowingthestructure of TV oftheexisting business.
→ In addition, anintegrated circuit providingtheplural functions that much electronic equipment calledanIC and LSI depends onaresin package today and is sealed up,andtheperson who completely understandsthedetails oftheinside movement ofthelarge-scale integrated circuit is limited even if it isanengineer making a specialty of it.
→ Theinternal structure isaflight recorder inaconstant working meaning to say,,in other words, "theinternal structure is not reflected" on for predetermined input in spite of being ignorance from anyone other thantheengineer that this is in charge ofthedesign oftheintegrated circuit.
→ Aflight recorder with such complexity and advancement moves totheunderstanding degree oftheuser where becoming it treats it,but because it is old,and internal structure was simple, thehousehold appliance that repair was possible depends onthedifferentiation strategy of pursuit oftheconvenience and many functionalization orthemaker bytheknowledge that is a few to the house ofthegeneral user, and it is withacomplicated thing, andauser is remarkable fortheprocess that evenanelectric appliance shop be due to ahand all the more, and disappeared.
→ Generally, theconcept ofaflight recorder thought about is these thing, but various things can becometheflight recorder intheprocess of today's technological change.
Theflight recorder withthetechnical change[editing]
→ Withthechange ofthetechnical system, anold technique may becomeaflight recorder.
→ Themost remarkable examples includeaJapanese electronic calculator(desk calculator).
→ Thedevice calledanelectronic calculator beatsabutton and inputsacalculating formula and displaysacalculation result toascreen bythework oftheinternal electronic circuit.
→ Downsizing and price reduction advanced rapidly fromthe1960s,and these devices spread.
→ Theelectronic calculator becamethecommon product with a little profit as a result that suchacommoditizing advanced.
→ ThereforetheJapanese electronic calculator maker movedtheproduction base totheforeign countries fromthelate 1990s,and,besides, Icame to adopt it toadevelopment engineer locally, and it was commonly used to produce designs abroad.
→ As a result,as fortheengineer who can designtheelectronic circuit which it is much more complicated thananelectronic calculator, and is high-performance, theengineer whoImeet demanded performance, condition such as low consumption electricity and reliability, thelow production cost, and can designthesimple electronic circuit likeanelectronic calculator appropriately appears even forthestory to say to Japan thatIhave disappeared thoughIam inthecountry.
→ Then,in Japan,it may be said thattheelectronic calculator has becomeaflight recorder.
→ Machinery made byalost technique(lost technology)isthething that analysis is particularly difficult inaflight recorder.
Software and flight recorder[editing]
→ In addition, this concept is not limited to hardware havingaphysical system.
→ User oneself made software withtheearly microcomputer, but it is rare thattheuser ofthecomputers such as today's PCs understandstheinside ofthesoftware which normal, what use established software uses.
→ In other wordsaflight recorder can say that becoming it advances aboutthesoftware.
→ This can say aboutthedeveloper ofthesoftware.
→ Becausetheparticularly commercial OS and middleware provideafunction for applications software, theAPI group preparing showsthespecifications foradeveloper, but, intheinside, whatIdo not show is common.
→ Only, thus, thework thatIcan achieve can knowtheinternal structure ofthesoftware which does not showasource code only by hanging trouble andthelabor that engineers withavery high skill calledthereverse assembling are enormous, and there is not it.
→ It is absolutely impossible to assemblethetotal picture of huge software such as Windows reversely, andthecommercial softwareware depends onause contract, and it is common to prohibit reverse assembling.
→ On the other hand, Ishowtheinternal structure bythesoftware oftheopen source such as Linux, but it is difficult in terms of time thatadeveloper oftheapplications software understands becausethecontents are enormous.
→ It is not necessary to knowtheinternal details expressly ifIonly useafunction ofthesoftware through抑 (in the first place),API.
→ It is different in selling lower software asaflight recorder, and, regardless of business,non-business,there is notadeveloper of higher software after all.
→ In suchtheAPI group,it may be said that it isasuperior flight recorder as far as it functions according to shown specifications.
→ Lower software depends on being becomeaflight recorder through API,andthedeveloper of higher software understandsthedetails ofthelower software and hardware and is freed from labor to tuck them in for own design.
→ It may be said thatthehistory ofthedevelopment ofthesoftware isthehistory oftheaccumulation of such abstraction.
→ On the contrary,it can causethedeep bug oftheroot for software using very when API of such OS and library does movement unlike specifications.
→ Because there is not suchacase withtherare thing, and it is difficult to revisethebug oftheOS andthelibrary used widely inamarket,it may be approached by need thatthedeveloper oftheapplications software evadesabug and uses API.
→ On the other hand,it is impossible to takethelast means thatadeveloper oftheapplications software readsasource code and understands internal structure, and to reviseabug, and,in the case ofthesoftware oftheopen source, there is not it.
→ Thedevelopment organization which can cutthetime when it is necessary for engineer and it which havetheskill that it is made is limited most practically.
