Hi,everyone!
My name is Vaughan and I am a teacher at EC×NOVA Shiroishi campus.
I came to live in Japan because I've been fascinated with this country and its culture since I did a school project on Japan when I was 7 years old. My interest in Japan was so strong. Then a couple of my friends even said that I was Japanese in a previous life. If that were true, my Japanese language ability could have been naturally high but …
I was intrigued by Ninja movies as a kid. At 16 I sought out a Ninjutsu instructor and I've been studying the 9 schools of the Bujinkan Dojo ever since. You might guess what happened to me. I received my teaching license after all this year and I now teach classes in Sapporo. Of course I will not forget my profession is to teach English as a means of communication.
One of my other hobbies is photography. I didn't have a camera when I lived in New Zealand. Electronic items are really expensive there. Last year I have bought a compact and an SLR camera
. Hokkaido has a lot of beautiful scenery, especially with the changing of seasons. I managed to capture some nice shots of the Autumn colours along the Shiroishi Cycling Path in Sapporo.
I look forward to meeting you in lessons and in the Chatter Lounge.
