SAN ANTONIO - "Drop and give me 20!" is something you might hear Air Force Staff Sgt. Michelle Manhart yell to airmen trainees at Lackland Air Force Base. Drop her trousers is what Manhart did for Playboy magazine, and now it's landed her in trouble with the military.

"Of what I did, nothing is wrong so I didn't anticipate anything of course," Manhart said Thursday of the pictorial. "I didn't do anything wrong so I didn't think it would be a major issue."

In a six-page spread in February's issue, hitting newsstands this week, Manhart is photographed in uniform yelling and holding weapons under the headline "Tough Love." The following pages show her partially clothed wearing her dog tags while working out, as well as completely nude.

Manhart, 30, who is married with two children, has been relieved of her duties pending an investigation, according to Lackland AFB spokesman Oscar Balladares.

Women Only Train Section

2007-01-12 | Weblog

In Japan, some train lines have a particular train section reserved only for women.
This is mainly to prevent groping incidents that unfortunately occur pretty frequently.

Well during yesterday morning’s rush hour to work, I ended up riding in one by mistake.

I have heard that the Toei Shinjuku train line has the number one car reserved for women only
for all cars headed for Shinjuku that take off before 9AM.
However, I boarded at 9:11AM so should be okay.

Fantastic: it was not crowded, did not have the heat from overcrowded rides from the past.
And there was a pleasant faint sweet smell of lady’s perfumes.
Besides, there was another guy besides myself in the car.
I should be okay.

But wait. After I read the onboard sign closely, it’s not the time you board the train.
It’s the time the train leaves its first station!

Although I had already ridden past three stations, I quickly transferred to another car at the next stop.
This one was terrible: packed, very hot and humid, and smelled like a men’s gym locker room.
Just then, there was an announcement that INDEED the first car is a women’s only car.

I peered over to the first car and saw the other guy sitting amongst a bunch of women that gave him the death stare.
He was deep in his music from his iPod with his eyes closed so he was neither aware of the stabbing stares or the announcement.
Poor soul.
