政府の調査では、豪州の10歳児で情報通信技術(ICT)が適正レベルに達していたのは57%。原住民や移民の子供たちがインターネットで情報を集めたり、発信できないというのは大問題。デジタル・デバイドにより社会的不公平が拡大します。日本では昨年度学校ICT環境整備に4000億円計上し、電子黒板やプロジェクターを全国の学校で一律購入。子供の将来より企業の利益？ IT と英語ができない子供は落ちこぼれます。

日本人にITと英語は無理？

According to the government, the investigation shows that 57% of 10-year-old Australian children have reached the proper level of ICT. It’s the big problem that aboriginal or immigrant children can’t collect or send information on internet. Social inequality will get worsen due to Digital Divide. In Japan the government appropriated $50,000,000 to develop the school ICT environment last year and bought the electronic blackboards or projectors for all the schools concertedly over the country. Is that more beneficial to enterprises rather than children’s future? Children who can’t use both IT and English will drop behind.
