A prototype of the automatic operation car Google designed from a zero was announced. A steering also departs by a button without a brake pedal.

Google in the US showed a prototype of May 27 (local time) and a developed automatic operation car. I had come using the test car which remodeled Prius of Toyota up to now, but this was designed from a zero.
I have no steering wheels and also have a brake/no accelerator pedals. The sensor which checks 360 times of environment is loaded into a roof.
There is also space where the baggage is put by 2 seater, and a prototype departs by a button/, it stops. The best speed per hour is restricted to safe purpose by 25 kilometers.
The said company plans to produce about 100 prototypes. A run test by a prototype with a manual driving function is begun in this summer, and says that pilot program is begun at the State of California within 2 years when this works.

Googleがゼロから設計した自動運転カーのプロトタイプを発表した。ステアリングもブレーキペダルもなく、ボタンで発車する。

米Googleは5月27日（現地時間）、開発中の自動運転カーのプロトタイプを披露した。これまでトヨタのプリウスなどを改造した実験車を使ってきたが、これはゼロから設計したものだ。
ステアリングホイールはなく、ブレーキ／アクセルペダルもない。屋根には周囲360度をチェックするセンサーを搭載する。
プロトタイプは2人乗りで荷物を置くスペースもあり、ボタンで発車／停車する。安全のために最高時速は25キロまでに制限されている。
同社は約100台のプロトタイプを製造する計画。今夏にはマニュアル運転機能付きのプロトタイプでの走行テストを開始し、これがうまくいけば2年以内にカリフォルニア州でパイロットプログラムを開始するという。
