大日本根子彦國牽天皇。大日本根子彦太瓊天皇太子也。母曰細媛命。磯城縣主大目之女也。天皇以大日本根子彦太瓊天皇卅六年（丙午前二五五）春正月。立爲皇太子。年十九。七十六年（丙戌前二一五）春二月。大日本根子彦太瓊天皇崩。
元年春正月辛未朔甲申。太子即天皇位。尊皇后曰皇太后。是年也太歳丁亥。
四年春三月甲申朔甲午。遷都於輕地。是謂境原宮。
六年秋九月戊戌朔癸卯。葬大日本根子彦太瓊天皇于片丘馬坂陵。
七年春二月丙寅朔丁卯。立欝色謎命爲皇后。后生二男一女。第一曰大彦命。第二曰稚日本根子彦大日日天皇。第三曰倭迹迹姫命。〈一云。天皇母弟少彦男心命也。〉妃伊香色謎命生彦太忍信命。次妃河内青玉繋女埴安媛生武埴安彦命。兄大彦命。是阿倍臣。膳臣。阿閇臣。狹狹城山君。筑紫國造。越國造。伊賀臣。凡七族之始祖也。彦太忍信命。是武内宿禰之祖父也。
廿二年春正月己巳朔壬午。立稚日本根子彦太日日尊爲皇太子。年十六。
五十七年秋九月壬申朔癸酉。大日本根子彦牽天皇崩。
≪英訳≫
Emperor Oyamato Neko Hikokunikuru-no-Sumeramikoto was the Crown Prince of Emperor Kōrei (孝霊天皇). His mother was Hosohime-no-Mikoto, the daughter of Shikinonagatanushi Oome. In the 36th year of Emperor Kōrei’s reign, during the spring of the first month, he ascended to the position of Crown Prince at the age of 19.
In the spring of the 76th year, during the second month, Emperor Kōrei passed away.
On the 14th day of the first month in the first year, the Crown Prince ascended to the throne. The late Empress was honored as the Empress Dowager. In that year, the Chinese zodiac sign was Doshi (丁亥).
On the 11th day of the third month in the fourth year, the capital was moved to Karu no Chi. This location was called Sakaibara Palace.
In the autumn of the sixth year, on the 6th day of the ninth month, Emperor Kōrei was buried in Kataoka Umasaka-no-Misasagi.
On the 2nd day of the second month in the seventh year, Utsushikomenomikoto was appointed as the Empress. She gave birth to two sons and one daughter. The first son was named Ohiko-no-Mikoto, the second was Waka Yamato Neko Hikooohihi-no-Sumeramikoto (Kaika Tennō), and the third was Yamato Totohime-no-Mikoto. Another consort, Ikagashikomenomikoto, gave birth to Hikofutsuo Shinno-no-Makoto-no-Mikoto. The following consort, Kawachi-no-Aotama Kake’s daughter, Haniasu-hime, gave birth to Takehanyasu-hiko-no-Mikoto. The elder brother Ohiko-no-Mikoto was the ancestor of seven families, including Abe-no-Ōmi, Kasuga-no-Omi, Ahe-no-Ōmi, Sasakino Yamano-kimi, Tsukushi-koku-zō, Koshikoku-zō, and Iga-no-Ōmi.
On the 14th day of the first month in the 22nd year, Waka Yamato Neko Hikooohihi-no-Mikoto was appointed as the Crown Prince at the age of 16.
On the 2nd day of the ninth month in the 57th year, the Emperor passed away.
≪この英文の和訳≫
大和根子彦国牽天皇（おおやまとねこひこくにくるのすめらみこと）は孝霊天皇（こうれいてんのう）の太子であり、母は磯城県主大目（しきのあがたぬしおおめ）の娘である細媛命（ほそひめのみこと）と言います。孝霊天皇の三十六年目の春、一月に皇太子として即位し、当時十九歳でした。
七十六年目の春、二月に孝霊天皇が崩御されました。
元年の春、一月十四日に太子は皇位に即き、先の皇后を尊んで皇太后としました。この年は太歳が丁亥でした。
四年目の春、三月十一日に都を軽地(かるのち)に移し、これを境原宮(さかいばらのみや)と名付けました。
六年目の秋、九月六日に孝霊天皇を片丘馬坂陵(かたおかうまさかのみささぎ)に葬られました。
七年目の春、二月二日に欝色謎命(うつしこめのみこと)を皇后とし、後に二男一女をもうけられました。第一は大彦命（おおひこのみこと）といい、第二は稚日本根子彦大日日天皇（わかやまとねこひこおおひひのすめらみこと 開化天皇）といいます。第三は倭迹迹姫命（やまとととひめのみこと）で、別の妃である伊香色謎命（いかがしこめのみこと）は彦太忍信命（ひこつおしのまことのみこと）を産まれました。次の妃、河内青玉繋（かわちのあおたまかけ）の娘である埴安媛（はにやすひめ）は武埴安彦命（たけはにやすひこのみこと）を生まれました。
兄の大彦命は、阿倍臣（あべのおみ）、膳臣（かしわでのおみ）、阿閇臣（あへのおみ）、狭狭城山君（ささきのやまのきみ）、筑紫国造、越国造、伊賀臣などの七族の祖先でした。彦太忍信命（ひこつおしのまことのみこと）は武内宿禰（たけのうちのすくね）の祖父であります。
二十二年目の春、一月十四日に稚日本根子彦大日日尊（わかやまとねこひこおおひひのみこと）を皇太子として立てました。当時十六歳でした。
五十七年目の秋、九月二日に天皇は崩御されました。
