開化天皇（かいかてんのう）
稚日本根子彦大日日天皇
稚日本根子彦大日日天皇。大日本根子彦國牽天皇第二子也。母曰欝色謎命。穗積臣達祖欝色雄命之妹也。天皇以大日本根子彦國牽天皇廿二年（戊申前一九三）春正月。立爲皇太子。年十六。五十七年（癸未前一五八）秋九月。大日本根子彦國牽天皇崩。冬十一月辛未朔壬午。《十二》太子即天皇位。
元年春正月庚午朔癸酉。尊皇后曰皇太后。
冬十月丙申朔戊申。遷都于春日之地。〈春日。此云箇酒鵝。〉是謂率川宮。〈率川。 此云伊社箇波。〉是年也太歳甲申。
五年春二月丁未朔壬子。葬大日本根子彦國牽天皇于劒池嶋上陵。
六年春正月辛丑朔甲寅。立伊香色謎命爲皇后。〈是庶母也。〉后生御間城入彦五十瓊殖天皇。先是天皇納丹波竹野媛爲妃。生彦湯産隅命。〈亦名彦蒋簀命。〉次妃和珥臣達祖姥津命之妹姥津媛生彦坐王。
廿八年春正月癸巳朔丁酉。立御間城入彦尊爲皇太子。年十九。
六十年夏四月丙辰朔甲子。天皇崩。
冬十月癸丑朔乙卯。葬于春日率川坂本陵。〈一云。坂上陵。時年百十五。〉
≪英訳≫
Wakayamato-neko-hiko-oohi-hi-no-Sumeramikoto was the second son of Emperor Kōgen. His mother was Utsushikome-no-mikoto, the sister of Utsushiko-ono-mikoto, an ancestor of Hotsumi-no-omi. In the spring of the twenty-second year of Emperor Kōgen’s reign, he became the Crown Prince at the age of sixteen.
In the autumn of the fifty-seventh year, in the ninth month, Emperor Kōgen passed away.
On the twelfth day of the winter in the eleventh month, the Crown Prince ascended to the throne as the Emperor.
In the first year, on the fourth day of the spring in the first month, the previous Empress was honored as the Empress Dowager.
On the thirteenth day of the winter in the tenth month, the capital was moved to Kasuga-no-chi. This was called the Izakawa Palace. In this year, it was the Taichu year of Taisai Kinoe-saru.
In the fifth year, on the sixth day of the spring in the second month, Emperor Kōgen was buried on the upper tomb of Tsurugi-no-ike Island.
In the sixth year, on the fourteenth day of the spring in the first month, Ikagashiko-menomikoto was enthroned as the Empress. The Empress gave birth to Emperor Mimaki-iribiko-i-ne-no-smera-mikoto, also known as Sujin-tennō.
Later, the Emperor took Tanba-takano-hime as his consort, and Hiko-yumusumi-no-mikoto was born. The next consort, Uzumaki-no-mikoto’s sister Uzumaki-hime, gave birth to Hiko-ima-no-mikoto.
In the twenty-eighth year, on the fifth day of the spring in the first month, Emperor Mimaki-iribiko-no-mikoto was enthroned as the Crown Prince at the age of nineteen.
In the sixtieth year, on the ninth day of the summer in the fourth month, the Emperor passed away.
On the third day of the winter in the tenth month, he was buried at the Sakagami Izakawa Sakamoto Mausoleum in Kasuga.
≪この英文の和訳≫
稚(わか)い頃の日本根子彦大日日天皇(わかやまとねこひこおおひひのすめらみこと)は、孝元天皇（こうげんてんのう）の第二子でした。母は穂積臣（ほつみのおみ）の先祖である欝色雄命(うつしこおのみこと)の妹、欝色謎命(うつしこめのみこと)でした。天皇は孝元天皇の二十二年目の春、十六歳で皇太子になられました。
五十七年目の秋、九月に孝元天皇が亡くなられました。
十一月十二日の冬、皇太子は天皇に即位されました。
最初の年の春、一月四日、先の皇后は尊ばれて皇太后と呼ばれました。
冬の十月十三日、都は春日(かすが)の地に移りました。これが伊坐川宮（いざかわのみや）と呼ばれるもので、この年は太歳甲申（たいさいきのえさる）の年でした。
五年目の春、二月六日、孝元天皇は劔池嶋上陵（つるぎのいけのしまのうえのみささぎ）に葬られました。
六年目の春、一月十四日、伊香色謎命(いかがしこめのみこと)が皇后に立てられました。皇后は御間城入彦五十瓊殖天皇(みまきいりびこいにえのすめらみこと 崇神天皇）をお生みになりました。
その後、天皇は丹波竹野媛(たにわのたかのひめ)を妃に迎え、彦湯産隅命(ひこゆむすみのみこと)が生まれました。次の妃は和珥臣(わにのおみ)の先祖である姥津命(ははつのみこと)の妹である姥津媛(ははつひめ)で、彦坐王(ひこいますのみこと)が生まれました。
二十八年目の春、一月五日、御間城入彦尊(みまきいりびこのみこと)が皇太子として立てられました。年は十九歳です。
六十年目の夏、四月九日、天皇はお亡くなりになりました。
冬の十月三日、春日伊坐川坂本陵(かすがのいざかわのさかもとのみささぎ)に葬られました。
