a little journy

2005-11-12 01:10:46 | オーストラリア
I went to Ipswich to have a look at accommodation during the holiday today. It was far from here... I went there by bus and train. From St.Lucia(where I live now) to Ipswich, it takes about one hour. But it took me 1&1/2hour to get there. cos i missed the train. It was partly my fault, but bus didn't come on time!

the journy was good, and the family there was also nice. I loved the house so much except the location. The place was a bit far from shops, so if i live there, i might get bored in a few weeks.
And i don't think i can get job there.
But the family was kind enough,,,or toooooo kind. they showed me around Ipswich station and then took me to the park where's like free zoo. We saw baby wallabie in pouch(it was so cute!), cocktails, kangaroos and...lots of animals.
So now im sooooo wondering,,,

Is this desteny?

yes. i should think about it seriously!

I came back to College before dinner. after dinner Ky* and Mo* and me went for a walk. I like chatting with them so much. fun. these days i think i laugh too much,,,
even after coming back to IH, we talked outside the dining hall.

and till just then, Mi** and R*o played a game (word guessing game..?) so i joined. it was difficult for me, but good practice!?
Mi** came to B3th half way through. Seeing Mi** and Cla** teasing each other is funny...

Anyway, today was really full day. a bit tiring day, too.

coming back!!
I reconfirmed that life is so boring without internet. Am i too addicted to the internet????

yeah, i lent my PC to my friend and gave up using PC these 3 days. It was kinda good for me. Because otherwise im sure i would have been stuck in my room. But what did i do?

1. I did reading. "Hyoten"(freezing point)is interesting! Because of this, i sit up all night pointlessly and finished reading in 2days(both volume 1 and 2). Far from constructive...At last, i borrowed sequels from M** chan. I strongly recommend you to read "hyoten"! this book makes me think about "life" and "sin" of human beings. deeep.
But it is strange that i read Japanese books here. I dont think i read it if i was in Japan now.

2. and...chatting.
Yesterday, day before yesterday, three days ago...I chatted a lot, like every night. I spent good time chatting with many ppl. Half of the conversation was in English and the left was in Japanese. Laughed a lot. I think it will be good memory for me in the future.. Especially yesterday, in K** chan's room, we did tea meeting and had a chat for about 5 hours!! laugh laugh laugh

Today i finally started to take action for the accommodation.
I made a phone call to a certain place(it was homestay), but the place was already taken up. So I checked accommodation service website and found a few good places. This time, i didn't made a phone call. Because i was sure I cant speak well on the phone! In stead, i sent emails. I really appreciate the existence of e-mail. e-mail BANZAI!
And just then, i had a callback(why...? i sent an email...Sould not have written my phone number..)
of course, i flounder through a conversation. Anyway, things are going foward. Good!!animal5

reward!?

2005-11-05 02:17:10 | オーストラリア
I went to the City today in reward for finishing all of assignments. Well done, me!(vanity)animal4
I went there by myself again, so what??
you can call me lonely person if you want.

today's mission were.

1. collect ticket(i saved 2 bucks by going to collect...stingy)
2. buy bag for trip
and hopefully,
3. get the connection for acccomodation

I went there by ferry again. love City Cat :)
First, i looked for the ticket centre. I had checked the address of ticket centre and found it's inside the Myer centre, so i was supposed to find the place easily. but,,,, it was by no means easy. walking arond the same floor, same lane...and finally, asked the person in information desk(it was in different floor). i followed what the woman explained. and found it was not inside Myer...or do you call it inside??? yes, it located near Myer, but entrance faced to the street. i had to go out of the centre to get there. i wasted time unexpectedly. But I got the ticket! yay!

Second, looked around the laggege shops. i was getting tired, so had a rest at the cafe. I ordered iced coffee and muffin. and had a culture shock. iced coffee was not the iced coffee i expected. it was "coffee float". it had ice cream and cream on surface....and size of it was so big. at first it was really good but gradually, i was feeling sick. the conbination of SWEET muffin and tall sized coffee with cream was too heavy for me...

Changed the mood and went to collect some stuff for finding accomodation. i found a few free paper.

Finally i came back to one laggege shop and bought one bag. the bag looks not so durable but it was ultra cheap. it would be ok cos maybe i will use it only once.

i went back to dorm by bus with big bag. met IH ppl.
it was around dinner time but i was not hungry because of iced coffee and muffin. had the late dinner and felt bored.
so went to Ky*'s room to annoy her. she was studying. so actually i annoyed her. sorry..... but actually i dont feel sorry.hehe
wrote the message for A* chan and Ky* chan.
I cant believe they are leaving soon...

i got a bit sentimental nowyellow8

FINISH

2005-11-04 22:03:25 | オーストラリア
I finished all assignments today!!!!
it was 'last minute' work again, but anyway, i finished!

that means....
my holiday has just begun!

But Im not so much excited now. Still everyone's studying hard...

What i should do now is to find accomodation(still dont find..or rather still wondering the type of accomodation).
But I've got a last resort.so i think i can avoid the rough sleeping.

during this 2 weeks(after 2 weeks and 2 days i will travel!), i decided to read English books. I think it'll good for me. So after handed in my essay, i went to the library and borrow one book. I wanted to borrow the book which my sister recomended for me, but it wasn't in St.Lucia lib. they should have it!!!

I also want to read Japanese books(Hyouten two-volume) which i found in B tower common.

I have plenty of time, so i can do whatever i want!!! Oh, now i got excited....
