halloween

ummm.it wasn't like Monday. Because we dont have class any more!
i think yesterday i had dream in english(half of them were Japanese, though) but i feel my listening is getting worse....i couldn't understand what Ka** asked me without asking back many times...

this morning i was too bad to be moved out from my room by cleaner. I had just taken shower then, and they came to my room....but it was actually good timing! cos i reluctantly went to the dinning hall and got scones. yummy.

today i spent almost all of the daytime in library.(only for 4 hours, though)
SSH(Social Science and Humanities) library was so crowded with the students studying for the exam or assignment. I did study but didnt get it done so much. takes long time to read books...

after dinner, no**** visited me and soon after t** joined. No**** and i were talking how bad our english are...we can really share this kind of feeling now. we are sick of hearing "never mind"(sign of giving up telling us something) so we asked t** not give up telling us anything. but actually he has patience. i think some ppl here are too tolerant with my poooor english and im so spoilt...is it good for me?
shop was open so t** left and two of us went to dining to get drink. suddenly(?) many japanese gathered.it was weired...
K** was going to see Scrubs(name of TV show ?sitcom?) in N**'s room, so i went there with her. "Scrubs" is fun! i like it. but still couldn't understand funny scene....it must be more fun if i can understand all what they say...
we saw DVD so it had subtitle on screen. i was always followed this unconciously. ummmm

it looks like i have more room to improve my attitude, not only for english but also for my life!?

tomorrow, i will achieve all of my resolution which i wrote after my presentation.

reason for absence

friday, the network in IH changed and i couldn't use my PC until now. But if it wasn't, i didn't have enough time to write down here till now....

I did hand in my essay(s)! I had Mi** proofread to the last minute and managed to make it! it was 10 minites before the closing time of office. Anyway i did it. i dont think it was well-done, though..
I hope i can pass this course.cos the last assignment's marking of this course wasn't so good..worry about it.
and we had a last formal dinner in this semester. It was called "valedictory bara khana". ppl who will finish studying at UQ gave speeches. They must have given interesting ones, but i didn't understand most of them. 3 months is not enough for me,,,


Yesterday was big day in IH. we had Switch Party. that is...boys pretended as girls and girls pretended as boys. it was interesting. especially seeing guys disguise girls...some of them were really beautiful, others were far cry from beautifull...
Some of us went bowling before the party with this disguise. in the bowling alley, there was a birthday party for kid, and many kids were staring at strange Uni students. It was funny! and not good for children's education! by the way, i got good score unusually! 100 up! anyway i enjoyed a lot.

we came back to IH before dinner and prepared for the party. i helped Co****'s wearing yukata cos Na* asked me to, but i couldn't tie obi well. i forgot how to tie obi already....but he looked really beautiful!
At the party there was stage out side and some guys were performing(?) like model. it was funny. I think many guys felt excited with wearing girls' costume and putting make-up.
i was terriblly drunk though i didn't drink so much. I guess i was tired because of the recent essay writing...(?) so i couldnt enjoy the last half of the party. went straight to bed and had a sleep. felt really sick. i guess it was my first time to feel sick that much....
but i didn't have hungover this morning. great!
college was so quiet.
i should have start writing final essay but didn't. I went to Coles and did some embarrassing misunderstanding n got depressed. its one of the those things.(←saying to myself)
And I got Pe*** to set up my PC. and now i can use internet.
The life without Internet was a bit boring for me.

went to Ky*'s room to return some stuff i borrowed, and had a chat. mainly about english.
After dinner i chatted with ***iel. It made me think about english improvement seriously.
and just now, i talked with Mi** and R** about english.

The happening in Coles, the chatting with people, made me write this long diary here. I should make more effort to make friends with more people and spend a good time here. Recently i was kinda lazy to make efforts. like...i didn't keep diary here and stopped carrying wordbook. stop thinking things in english.
I dont wanna leave here without any improvement.i dont wanna waste precious time..and money as well.
So i decided to study as much as i can!!! it is hard to keep motivation, so i think im really happy to have this environment. the life here sometimes makes me feel down but stimulates me a lot.
took much time to write here..im sure i will study hard tomorrow. or rather, i really have to.

The storm is raging. These days we often have storming..
It must be rany season now. But I didnt expect like this. too much lightning and thunder! Tonight i guess thunderbolt struck near here. I heard the huge sound of rolling.

i wonder if i can finish this essay by tomorrow...?
today i spent most of time facing PC. And finished 1200 words.
....and stuck.
800 words left....

these days im using credit card frequently.payment for plane ticket and package tour, and dentist. going bust...?


to tell the truth, now is my escaping time from essay.
im stuck again, and writing diary now.2000 words is hard for me...

yesterday, I went to karaoke in Australia for the first time.

There was a cocktail party in IH and after that some ppl went out.
I didn't intend to go out, but I was asked by ****mi and changed my mind. i have a weak will...
First we went to Embassy(name of club) and after having a glass of cocktail, I went to karaoke with some Japanese people !
It was in the City and like karaoke box in Japan.(I mean Australian karaoke is a bit different from Japanese one...there is a stage and everybody can hear someone's singing)
But I thought the place was not so good(compared to Japanese one..older song list, low tech...) but we enjoyed!

today i went to southbank to see a film with a Korean classmate. we saw "40years old virgin". It was so----stupid movie!! but funny.I liked it. though i couldn't understand all of funny point(every audience laughed so much!)
Before seeing it, we had a lunch at the cafe where i had a hotchocolate before. It was OK but they served a bit late so we had to eat in a hurry to be in time for start.
When the movie finished, it was already 5, so we parted there. I was about to catch a ferry to go back to IH, but I happen to meet Mi**-chan & Mi**-chan & R**-kun at southbank ferry terminal. They were going to New Farm Park to see jacaranda(purple tree which i put the picture in this blog before), and I decided to join them. The park was good place to relax. I could feel the relaxing atmosphere. After going around the park, we headed for city and went for a dinner. Korean restaurant. I had sun du bu(not exactly) there. It was hot!! but nice.
I am so tired today. Have a rest and will studay tomorrow!
