Pet* and Sha*on came to Kobe yesterday. They are my Ipswich mates. i mean, I stayed their house during summer holiday in Australia.
And..guess what!
They came to Japan to live in Kyoto from this month!!

We had only 1 hour, but it was really good to catch up with each other after a long time! They looked fine, which was good. i wanted to show them around Kobe if we had enough time...and also, if they could eat row fish, i wanted to invite them to NEKONEYA...

Im gonna go back home tomorrow. it will be a short stay(only 3 days) but ive been busy these 2 weeks or so, so hope i can relax. Ive got a lot of work to do though. Entree sheet, entree sheet, entree sheet....

Today I couldnt answer what "take after" and "look after" mean when asked.
Is this a problem..?
look after=take care of, take after=resemble, according to a dictionary.
Yeah now i remember these...I memorised these kind of idioms when i was in high school. But i guess i didnt have to use those expressions when i was in Aus. only one expression was enough.

....yes, this is MAKEOSHIMI(im a loser).

lost

I found I am a person who has no sense of direction.

I hate city, I hate high buildings!!!!

Yes, I was late for two seminars today.
though I still had one hour when I arrived at Osaka..
One of the place I was going to was near the Higobashi station. An information map i had said if i walk there, it takes 15 min, so i walked. But as I walk, I felt something was strange...cos I didnt find any landmark on the map. So i asked one man, then it turned out I walked to the opposite direction! I had only 30 min before the seminar start. So I rushed into nearest subway station, transferred twice(wonder how far i walked to..), and arrived barely in time(i guess i was late one or two minute though).

Then,, I went to another seminar.
I didnt want to get lost any more, so i used subway this time. But...
I lost again. After getting off the subway, I walked as the map shows, then I noticed I stray into a rather dangerous place. Then I asked one man, "Could you tell me where here is?" then he(he had a shady signboad in his hand) frowned and answered, walk this way and you'll find a detailed map.
So i did. but i didnt find a map. I was at a loss.

Though I had 40 min to spare this time(it was said it takes only 5 min from the nearest station), it was already 10 min before the seminar starts. So I called the number on the map i had that "i am lost. could you tell me the location of the place?". Then I could get the exact place i should go. Actually I had passed the place once, right after going out from the underground. So stupid. But when i arrived there 5 min late, they were quite kind and said "i was waiting for you".

I dont wanna experience this any more.
Could somebody tell me how to avoid getting lost...?

By the way, Happy Valentine!! nose3

takes time

I wonder how many hours i should spend on writing self-praise sheets of paper, aka Entree Sheet.
Basically I dont like showing myself off (or just let myself out to people easily), so this is really a backbreaking job to do. But unless i write this paper, i won't even get a chance to have job interview. uuu so hard. It's like an another essay hell.

These days i can't help but think how great Japanese bussiness men or women are, who went through the regular job-hunting procedure after the collapse of the "bubble ecomomy". I respect them so much.
People say now it became easier for students to get a job opportunity, but in reality i dont feel it any.

aaaaa I wanna go back to hometown and relax!! but im too stupid to make a tight schedule. I will go to lots of lots of seminars this week and next week....I wonder if i can survive or not.

NHK

Though I cannot watch TV, I paied TV charge for NHK today.
When the money collector came to my room, i totally forgot that my TV has bad reception and I cannot watch NHK at all. So i paied...stupid. I even asked the collecter "Isn't your job hard?". I guess im having compassion on labours in Japanese severe society now.
But this event finally raise me up to call the engineer to have a look at the TV connection. From day after tomorrow(hopefully) my life with TV will start.

By the way, I wonder why I could stand the life without TV this long although i was a TV-lover before. I'm looking forward to watching NEWS.

...no, i lied. I wanna watch KAREINARU ICHIZOKU...
