September

The end of September. Its getting hotter and hotter. Summer is coming!! But today we had a shower only when i was out..

I should have finished my assignment by now, but haven't.sigh,sigh.
I wonder if i can finish this.

Tonight i went to see a movie with IH people. We watched "Wallace & Grommit". It was easy to understand cos it is clay animation for kids. But i was surprised to hear Aussie laughing loudly. And i found the funny bone of Aussie is not the same as those of the Japanese. They are easy to be made laugh by obviously "funny" stuff.
I don't know if the film was worth watching in cinema, but anyway it was funny. On the City Cat(ferry), they(we) stood in a circle and talked about movie and other funny things. But i did not understand what they were talking about. I haven't been in such a situation for a long time, so it was tough and reminded me of what i used to be in Choir. No progress from then.
We came back and gathered in C tower common room. We played game and chatted(i did not chat, though).

I have to study from now! seems like...I am always saying same phrase...

I couldn't write down here yesterday coz I went to Gold Coast!
I stayed my friend's house one night and came back today.
First, me and ****mi went to Surfers Paradice. It was my first time to go there(she have been there 3 times..), so i was excited! I saw the sea after a long time. The sea there was sooo beautiful!Clear and blue...We didn't swim there but had a dip(only feet). We didn't have enough time to look around shops there but an icecream i bought was sooooo nice! I recommend "Copenhagen"'s one.
We missed the bus to go to Na*****'s house, so her family gave us a lift. Sorry for giving them trouble...
BTW, Na****e is a Japanese brought up here. And her house is REALLY huge and gooooorgeous. I wanna live in a place like that someday..
We went to the pool near her house and swam a bit. It was cold after the sunset...but we enjoyed. After that we had a dinner. Her mother cooked us Japanese food for a dinner(hand roll sushi & CHAWANMUSHI). It was so nice! I haven't had REAL Japanese food for a long time, so i was very impressed! thank you!!
Her father&mother talked to us a lot of interesting things(emigration, good and bad points in Australia and Japan, celebrity who visited their house..etc..) and we enjoyed chatting till around 11:30.

This morning we got on the buggy and went to see wild kangaroo around the residential area. i didn't expect that i can see kangaroo around private houses...Nature is great..

Seb was supposed to come her house and pick us up to IH at 10:00, but he haven't show up till 12:30 as expected....thanks anyway.

We arrived at IH around 2 and I fell asleep as soon as came back to my room.I had a great time in Gold Coast!! thanks for inviting me, Na*****.



　 　

swotting

I should finish at least one part of assignment! there are 3 parts in this assignment...and havent finished all of them..
For that reason, today's title is "swotting".( I did not know this word..and never heard of this)

As usual, dinner was not so good.
After dinner, i went down to ivor crib and played the piano. I went there alone. I did not want people to notice my artistic(awkward) performance, so played with low tone. But the piano was so old that even i worked a soft pedal, some of key sounded normal tone...
It was fun, but want to play normal tone!....without making ppl disgusting.

It is raining now. I hope tomorrow will be fine.

Chattering

today i broke my record of hours of chatting after dinner.
We chatted in the dining room for four hours! Actually I talked with Japanese friends, but we didn't use Japanese at all! And we talked about rather difficult, social isseues; such as education, cultural difference, and language.
I felt very frastrated. Because even if i wanted to say my opinion or what i know about the topic, i couldn't find the right words to say. 〇e-chan said that if we keep this practice(use English among Japanese) patiently, we will be able to speak better than now. I want to believe this, but i cannot! cos i did not say any complex sentences....it takes much time for me to explain something.
But i really enjoyed conversation with them, so thats fine :)

Tomorrow i was supporsed to go out but it was postponed.
I must study!!!

今日はよく話した！食後のおしゃべり、ついに記録更新！！日本人同士で英語。色々話したけど、ちょっと複雑な話もした。難しい・・・。
言いたいことが言えない。これを続けたらいつかしゃべれるようになるのだろうか・・・。そう思いたいけど。。
ま、楽しかったからいっか☆

明日はお出かけの予定でしたが、変更。勉強しなければ！！！！

did nothing special today.

everyone seems to have gone somewhere. some of them have gone to their hometown and others gone to trip. i could find lots of empty tables in dining room today.
there are some ppl who stay here but i feel lonely...so cant get on the assignment...(just excuse?)

Anyway, in a day like today, i thought i'd better to sing songs♪
And i sang with all my might for about an hour... but still not contented with yet...
Am i stressed???
