A professor of Tsinghua University(清華大学) in China
severely criticized the personal cult to the leader, and requested
the re-evaluation of the Tiananmen Square massacre in his paper.
The article of the professor widens ripples inside and outside China.
Professor Xu Zhangrum (55) of Tsinghua University, who
published this thesis, studied at Melbourne University in
Australia, and obtained a doctorate in law.
In a paper published on the Internet through Beijing's private
think tank on July 24, Mr. Hu said, "People are now at a loss
for national development and family security." He brought the
constitutional amendments that abolished the term of the
President in National People's Congress (equivalent to the Diet)
of March into question.
