物語は語る相手が必要

　まずは、「グレイズ・アナトミー」の形成外科医カリー役サラ・ラミレスが番宣で出演した朝のＴＶでの生歌。

　もともとは、同番組の挿入歌としてブランディ・カーライルが歌ったものですが、ブランディのバージョンよりも、私はサラのバージョンが好きです。ブランディのほうは、後半、叫びすぎて歌詞が分からない（笑）。

この中で、"these stories don't mean anything when you've got no one to tell them to”　というフレーズがあります。「（自分の人生がどうだったという）こんなストーリーは、話す相手がいなければ何の意味もない」　これを聴いたとき、映画『ものすごくうるさくて、ありえないほど近い』の中でオスカーが言っていたセリフを思い出しました。彼は訪れた人々がいろいろな話をしたがることについて、「言葉は物語になり、物語は誰かに伝えるためのもの」というようなことを言っていたと思います。語る相手がいなければ意味のないストーリー、なんだか切ないですね。

書こう、書こうと思いつつ、先延ばしにしていた『ものすごく～』の映画と原作の比較ですが、主な劇場公開も終わったことですし、そろそろほんとに書こうと思っています。東京ではまだ渋谷でやっているので、できればもう一回映画館で観てから書きたいですが。
