Already, we have received consultation regarding issues such as:
●Wanting to take time off of work but unable to afford it (cannot afford to lose shifts, do not know if able or how to take time off)
●Employers shortening or cutting shifts or even firing because of the decreased number of customers etc.
●Fired because you refused to go to work not wanting to risk being infected.
We are expecting more issues to arise as the virus spreads. Please share this information with anyone who may find the hotline useful.
