Broben through to springboard final

Olympic silver medallist Brittany Broben has qualified for the final of the one-metre springboard at the Barcelona World Championships 12ax7.

Broben started slowly and was toward the back end of the field after her opening dive.

But the Queensland schoolgirl, better known for her platform diving, worked her way through the field to finish 11th, guaranteeing her a start in this week's final personalized clothing labels.

Perth teenager Maddison Keeney showed her enormous potential by leading the field after two dives, but a mistake on her third dive cost her dearly and she finished in 18th position dermes.
