Journey 1976&1977

スティーヴ・ペリー加入前のジャーニーのFM音源を２つDL。
ひとつは、'76年5月のシカゴ。もうひとつは、'77年12月のカリフォルニア。

バンドにとって専任ヴォーカリスト、スティーヴ・ペリー加入後の'78年発表のアルバム
「Infinity～インフィニティ」以前のジャーニー。

スタイルはやや違えど、当時カンサスやスティクスなどと共にアメリカン・プログレ・サウンドを
標榜していた。
ヴォーカルはキーボードのグレック・ローリーが主に披露していたが、あくまでインストゥルメンタル
な演奏をウリとしていた頃。
少数ながらこの時期のジャーニーのファンって居るんだよね、自分含めて（笑）

エリック・ジョンソンとアメリカのジャズ～フージョン系ギタリストのマイク・スターン
のジョイント・ライヴのAUD音源。

ライヴ・ハウスでの演奏なので近い感じもあるし、録音もとても秀逸なもの。
映像を観ている訳ではないので２人のパート分けみたいなものは判らないんだけれど、
構成としてはジョンソンのステージにスターンが参加している・・・って感じなのかな？

ライブ・ハウスでの演奏らしく、所々でテーブル上の皿やグラスを片付ける際の音も入っていたりする。
ビル・エヴァンスのあの名盤「Waltz for Debby～ワルツ・フォー・デビィ」みたいに。

今年4月に開催された「ニューオーリンズ・ジャズ&ヘリテッジ・フェスティバル」での
ビリー・ジョエルの演奏。野外のオープンな雰囲気とそれを感じされる音が心地良い。

セットは前回のツアーなどでお馴染みのものばかりだが、08は久しぶりに？披露された
曲かな。全体的にはジャズ風にアレンジされている曲。14もリリース当時以来久々に聴いた
「Storm Front～ストーム・フロント」に入っている曲。

15は地元ジャズバンドとの競演なんかもあって中々楽しい内容。

懐かしいサイモン＆ガーファンクルの'82年後楽園球場全3日間のブートAUD音源。
自分も2日目に観に行った。

丁度、前年にセントラル・パークでのフリー・コンサートのライヴ・アルバムが
ヒットしていて、日本でもリバイバル・ブームというタイミングでの初来日公演。
当日もそのライヴ・アルバムの流れに沿ったセットが披露された。

スティーヴ・ガッドやリチャード・ティーなど「スタッフ」関連のミュージシャン
がバックを務めたのも当時話題になった。

'09年以来、4年振りのツアーを昨夜オハイオ州コロンバスよりスタートさせたフリートウッド・マックの
音源が早速UPされていたので頂いて聴いてみた。

下にアップローダー本人によるラインエイジとコメントも付してあるので参照して頂きたいのだが、
セットリストを見て実際聴いてみてセット的には、前回4年前や'03年リリースのアルバム「セイ・ユー・ウイル～
Say You Will」のツアーと比べ、流れ的にはそれ程目新しいものは無いのかな・・・？と思った。

メンバーも前回同様、黄金期の面子にクリスティーン・マクヴィーが欠けた4人。（他にキーボードプレーヤーが1名）

オープニングは'77年のメガヒット・アルバム「噂～Rumours」の1曲目の「セカンド・ハンド・ニュース」。03までは
同アルバムからの曲が並ぶ。04は新曲かな？ギターのリンゼイ・バッキンガムもMCでそれらしい発言をしているから。

以降はこれまでのヒット曲やスティヴィー・ニックスのソロ含め約2時間20分の演奏。
流れ的には目新しさは然程感じないと書いたが、曲のアレンジは各曲適宜変えているので新鮮な感覚で楽しめる。


録音のクオリティも良席のお陰か、機材が良いからか、はたまたテーパーさんの技量のお陰かとても良好。

This was the 2013 tour opener. Features the live debuts of "Sad Angel" & "Without You".
Also, the first performance of "Sisters Of The Moon" in a very, very long time. Stevie
made sure to make mention of that.

The show was fantastic. Usually w/ tour openers there are glitches, screw-ups, technical
malfunctions, etc. But opening night went off without a hitch. I had personally never
seen Fleetwood Mac, so this was a treat for me. I was supposed to see and tape them in
the fall of 2004 but something else came up. The morning of this concert, I pulled up
ticketmaster and 10 rows back in front of the right stack was staring back at me. The
pricetag of $170 was awfully steep, but what the hell, it was worth it. They blew me
away. Not sure if I will be seeing and taping them again at that price, tho! I included
some of my personal photos as well as some I stole off of instagram.com :) Please feel
free to create cover art and share this recording with as many FM fans as possible, just

無期限の活動停止の筈も、2年半で終わり（笑）新たにイギリスからツアーをスタートした
ブラック・クロウズのマンチェスターでのツアー初日の音源をDL。

当日は、会場のキャパ2300らしいがソールド・アウトだったとか。

記念すべきスタートは、懐かしい「ジェラス・アゲイン」。
音源は歪等も無く上質。

彼等らしいルージィーな曲が並ぶライヴ。変わらない演奏スタイル。ツアーのタイトルは
「Lay Down With Number 13' World Tour 」らしいが、“World ”ってことは日本も含まれる
のかな？Pollstarでは夏のヨーロッパ迄は日程が決まっているみたいだけど。

アラン・パーソンズ・ライヴ・プロジェクト（アラン・パーソンズ・プロジェクト）の最新ライヴ音源。
録音場所はオーストリアのウイーン（ViennaはWienの英名表記）。音質はエクセレント。
その音を聴いている感じでは、音の反響から中規模なホールでの演奏みたいに聴こえる。

比較的新し目の曲はよく分からないが、昔からの曲は全体的な曲感こそ変わらないものの細かいアレンジは
適宜変えているものもある。（CD1-03,05など）

以前からバンド形態で活動していた訳では無いので、バンドメンバーがガラリ違っていても特に違和感みたいなもの
は無いんだけれど、ヴォーカルも新しい人（？）なので別のバンド聴いているみたいに思える部分もある。

ポリスのシンクロニシティ・ツアーの開演前リハーサル（サウンド・チェック）音源。
音質はSBDなので良好。音源はブート経由では無く、ファン間のトレードによるものらしい。

演奏曲は全編通したものや、イントロだけのものなど様々。ヴォーカルも流しながらのもの
が多い。でもドラムスは常に真剣（恐らく）正確な演奏。性格だろうね（笑）

Santana 40th anniversary of the visit to Japan

音源ネタが無いので、先週末行ったサンタナの「来日４０周年記念１９７３サンタナの軌跡　
サンタナ　フィルムコンサート」の会場ロビーに飾られたギター他の画像を紹介。



サンタナの初来日時の武道館他のライブ映像が今回見つかったということで、渋公で試写会＆当時のレコード会社の
ディレクター、レコーディング・エンジニア等ゲストを呼んでのトークショーが開催されました。



その初来日時の演奏を収録した「ロータスの伝説～Lotus」は、ジャケット・デザインを横尾忠則氏が担当。
そのジャケットは22面という大がかりなものでギネスに認定されているそうです。





展示されていたサンタナのギター・コレクション。



左のレス・ポールはあのヤマハのSG以前に使っていたヤツですね！





他３本はポール・リード・スミスのサンタナ・シグネチャーモデルですね。これ皆有働氏所有のコレクション
なのでしょうか？
