Diamond Jubilee ６０周年

ダイアモンド・ジュビリーは７５回目の記念日、しかし君主の場合６０回目の記念日だけを祝うために開催される祝賀です。

A Diamond Jubilee is a celebration held to mark a 75th anniversary, but only the 60th anniversary in the case of a monarch.

There was considerable national unrest when Quenn Victoria largely withdrew from public life after her husband's death in 1861.


６０周年祭を１８９７年６月２２ｈ儀の６０回目の記念日に早めることが決定されました。

It was decided to bring the diamond jubilee forward to the 60th anniversary on 22 June, 1897.
