Sydney Volkerts is an American photographer. Using both film and digital mediums, she seeks to create portraits that convey the tender, often hidden emotions we experience, contrasting them with the unspoken beauty in natural and human-made architecture. Her works draw upon aspects of color psychology, visual geometry, and light and shadow.
