It depends on size of the house. Standard of Japanese house is applied to the proverb with 3 day limitation, but Australian standard of houses extends to 3 weeks. In fact I'm planning to go to Australia to pass this coldest season next month and to visit one of my friend, who is inviting my wife and me for 3 weeks.
