I read the interview article of Reuters' CEO, Tom Glocer. His drive comes from the idea of self-improvement. He said,
"I want to be better in the evening when I leave work. I want to leave Reuters in a better place than it was when I found it in the morning".
As he says, if you put together consecutive days of "It's just a little bit better in the evening than it was in the morning" over 6 years, you can achieve quite a lot. No doubt about that.
