シンガポールの地下鉄乗り場で見かけた罰金を表示した警告板。ファインには「きれいな」と「罰金」の2つの意味があります。シンガポールの建国の父・リー・クアンユーは言いました。アジア人は罰則を設けないとどこにでもゴミを捨て、唾をする。五輪を目前に控えた中国でも大衆のマナー向上のために罰則を強化しています。アジア人観光客が多いケアンズでも、歩きタバコやポイ捨てが目立ちます。日本人はマナーが良い？いいえ、歩きながらのタバコ、ガム、食べ物も平気、傍若無人に写真を撮りまくり、乗り物に乗るとすぐに飲食したがります。

This is the warning sign that tells you about fines in Singapore I found in the subway station. Fine means both “clean” and “penalty”.
