妻と次男の遺骨は、半分をグレート・バリア・リーフに散骨し、半分は三沢市民墓地に埋葬。三沢市は米軍基地のある街ですが、外人墓地はありません。市民墓地は沼のほとりの芝生の丘に広がる洋風の墓地公園。時々戦闘機の轟音が響きます。

Foreigner’s graveyard of Hakodate
July 12 : Wednesday : fine
I scattered half of the ashes of my wife and son around the Great Barrier Reef, and buried the remains in the Misawa citizen graveyard. There is a US military base, but no foreigner’s graveyard in Misawa. The graveyard has Western style that locates on the hill covered with lawn of the vicinity of swamp. Occasionally, deafening roar of the fighter plane echoes.
