三つ星王子

今回の旅のテーマはホテルの格付け。一昨日宿泊した新宿プリンス・ホテルは歌舞伎町の雑踏の立地。プールはないし、バスは狭いし、眺望は悪いし、電車と自動車の騒音と振動がひどい三つ星ホテル。1泊11,000円。ところで留置所と大差のないビジネス・ホテルは一つ星。一つ星総理が入院した慶応病院特別室は三つ星仕様。豪州のモーテルの大半は、プール・ジャグジー・キッチン・食卓がついた三つ星で、2人1泊6,000円くらい。日本の住環境は一向に改善される様子はありません。

The theme of this trip is to evaluate different hotels. Sinjuku Prince Hotel in where I stayed last night is located in busy Kabuki-cho. It is the 3-star hotel that has no swimming pool or good view, and the noise and the vibration of the trains and cars go by are terrible. It was 11,000 in yen for a night. By the way so-called business hotels that are almost the same as the custody houses are 1-star hotels. The VIP room of Keio Hospital where 1-star prime minister has admitted in has 3 stars. Most motels in Australia have swimming pools, Jacuzzis, and kitchens with dining tables. Those 3-star ones are about 6,000 in yen for 2 people per night. Japanese residential condition is not seemed to be improving.
