Pyrrhic victory

菅首相に対する不信任決議案が否決された翌日のThe Japan Times Onlineの記事タイトルに "Kan wins Pyrrhic victory: analysts" と言うのがありました。民主党内の茶番劇の結果、民主党員で反対票を投じたのは僅か２名だったので、決議案は票数からすると完全に否決されたのですが、 "Pyrrhic victory" が圧倒的な勝利を意味するとは思えません。　記事を読んだのですが、ヒントになりそうな個所は次ぎの部分ではないかと推測しました。（記事の全文は http://search.japantimes.co.jp/mail/nb20110603a1.html にあります。）
