何度も出くわした事のある単語ですがまた意味を忘れている単語、"brouhaha" がThe Japan Times Online, Oct.17のキャプションにありました。

この余り英語らしくない "brouhaha" は時々目にするのですが、さっぱり覚えられません。　しかたなく又辞書を引きます。

英語らしくないと思ったらやはりフランス語経由で入ってきた言葉でした。
