Small casualty toll among wildlife intrigues biologists

It is said that animals can sense natural disasters to be happening in advance.
It is quite likely true.
According to an article from the Globe and Mail, the Canadian news paper, no dead animals are found after the fatal earthquake and Tsunami in Sumatra Islands.
How can it happen while hundreds of thousand of mankind drowned!

There hasn't been any scientific proof yet but, isn't it wonderful? We could forecast those natural disasters by observing animals!!

インドネシアの地震と津波で、野生動物は殆ど死ななかったらしい。
ゾウどころか、うさぎ一匹の死体も見つからなかったのですって。
不思議です。。
